Adrien paced back and fourth in his room, after his visit with his princess he knew he couldn't let her down.

"Kid, if you keep pacing like that you're gonna carve a groove in the floor," Plagg stated in annoyance.

Adrien stoped and looked at his kwami beggingly. Plagg let out a sigh,

"Ok, let's break this down bit by bit... sort of how you break down Camembert, got it?"

"I appreciate your efforts in tying to help me but cheese metaphors aren't gonna help," Adrien replied glumly.

Plagg being Plagg, chose to ignore this.

"Ok what do we know," He continued. "A) your father won't let you go to the dance, B) You have plans to go with Mari... C) Mari has a major crush on you" Plagg whispered the last part. "Right?" He said as he leaned forward.

Adrien nodded, "What was C again? I didn't quite hear it,"

Plagg's tail twitched nervously, "C) and you can't let Mari down?" Adrien nodded in agreement.

"One question," Plagg said with a sideways glance. "You kissed Mari on the forehead... why exactly?"

"Well, I guess I've got myself another reason why I can't disappoint her,"

"And what would that be?" Plagg asked curiously as his tail flicked from side to side. Adrien looked away and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"I see." Plagg nodded. This is some news my little berry blossom would like to hear... and no it's not just an excuse to see Tikki...

"Ugh I'm never going to convince my father to let me go!" Adrien groaned as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

"Who says he's gonna know?" Plagg grinned. Adrien raised a brow,

"What do you have in mind?"

Plagg's smile because evidently wider,

"Let's just say...

I have a secret identity as well,"

...

Gabriel:

Maybe I'm being too hard on him, but I will not, under any circumstance let him out of my sight. I cannot loose him too. He's out there and I know he won't stop until he has finished the entire Agreste bloodline. Only the power of three miraculous' can defeat him, in the name of revenge I will-

A bat came flying out of nowhere sending Hawkmoth out of his thoughts.

"What the heck?!" He said as he swatted it and missed. Gabriel bolted out of his chair.

The akuma butterflies. It's after a meal that I will prohibit from happening.

Gabriel followed the little black bat into the Akuma chamber. The room filled with glistening flickers of white light from the fluttering butterflies. The bat darted in and out of the crowd of beating wings sending them into a flurry of panic. As Gabriel reached to grab the pesky bat he grabbed a butterfly by mistake, triggering the window mechanism, the curved glass window opened the exit... in which the frightened butterflies gratefully took.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Hawkmoth raged. "Stupid bat!" He roared. "Stupid ba-

He stopped in his tracks as he leaned down to inspect a small piece of torn black fabric.

Clever bat... or should I say...

.

.

.

Clever Kwami

He rubbed the torn fabric wing between his thumb and finger.

A very clever Kwami indeed, ... a kwami in disguise... who would have thought...

Adrien:

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Adrien sighed. His father's assistant, Nathalie came in.

"Adrien your father has some news for you." She said as she waited for a gesture of continuing. Adrien nodded in response.

"Your father will be gone for some time for a private trip to take care of an emergency affair," she continued.

"Did he mention how much time?" Adrien inquired.

"No, not exactly, but have it for certain that it will be on the longer side of the time frame scale." She replied. Adrien mouthed a thank you as she walked out the door and shut it.

I will go to the dance now!
