You told me to carry on,
But the darkness weights too much even in dawn.
It swallows my soul on some days,
Still...
I need a torch it feels like-
Though I know it wouldn't help me fight.
And you said it would be rough,
But tragic words aren't near enough.

You told me to carry on,
