Prologue 

 Niall's POV

"I will miss you gorgeous" I told Tara in a soft voice making sure i didn't attract any fans. 

"I will miss you too" Tara said as a tear ran down her cheek. 

I slowly wiped the tear that ran down her face. Her beautiful blue eyes were filled with sadnesss. I was trying to stay strong. I had to stay strong, for her. She moved close to me as i wrapped my arms around her.  I held her close. Closer then ever. 

"Niall, what if i don't make it throu-" 

I pulled back , keeping my hands gripped onto her wrists.I didn't want to let her go. "Don't say that! You will be fine, i know you will be." 

"Promise?" she said weakly. 

"Promise" I forced a small smile onto my face assuring her that everything was going to be okay.

It's been nearly 2 months and no one knows about Tara and I. Not even the boys. We had agreed to keep it all a secret for as long as we could. It was my idea, i didn't want her getting any of that stupid hate from all the fans. I don't really know why i haven't told the boys, i guess it never came up. 

Tara was going to Australia for surgery. Heart surgery. It was a heart condtition that she was born with. They couldn't do the surgery until she was a particular age, and i guess she is at the age now.  They didn't do the surgery here in England so she had no choice but to go back to Australia where her parents live. 

"Tara, It's still not to late if you want me to come." i reminded her. 

"Niall. You need to stay here. We have kept this secret going for so long and if you came people would start suspecting things. Plus you have the tour coming up. You can't miss that!" she said with a fake smile. 

"I would miss anything to be with you!" She said nothing, moved close to me and wrapped her arms around me. I held her close, so close that i could feel her heart beating frantically agaist my chest. 

Annoucement: FLIGHT NUMBER QF226 to Australia 

"Well that's my flight."  I hesitantly released my grip from her.

"I will see you when you get back. Good luck!" i told her leaning forward and giving her one last kiss. The last kiss i would get for a while. She kissed back. 

Announcement: Last call for flight QF226 to Australia 

"I better go. And don't worry if we can't talk every day. I know you're ar busy, and it will be hard with the time difference." she picked up her hand lugguage and slowly started walking off towards the door. 

"We will try talk as much as we can!" She was right, it was going to be hard to communicate. I watched her walk upto the lady who was scanning all the boarding passes. 

As she was about to walk though the doors she turned back and i saw her lips move. 'I love you' She mimed. 

'I love you too' i mimed back giving a little wave. She turned around and walked though the doors. That's it. No turning back now.
