Chapter 8.~ Car Ride

Yoongi sighed as he finished washing all of the dishes.  He walked back into the dining room to see Hoseok sitting down, on his phone.

"Again, I'm really sorry Hoseok.  Is there anything I can do to make it up to you," Yoongi ruffled his hair.  Hoseok looked back at Yoon, "Huh?  Oh yeah Yoon, it's fine."  Hoseok stood and walked over to him with a bright smile on his face, "How about we take a picture and I post it on instagram.  Y'know for the sake of first date and first encounter memories."  Yoon smiled and gave a nod.

  Hoseok pressed on his camera and aimed it at themselves.  They both posed for the picture as Hoseok took it.

   Hoseok clicked his gallery to check the photo and since he was satisfied, posted it.  He tagged Yoongi causing Yoon to get a notification.  He checked to see what it looked like.

Yoongi groaned, "I don't look right."  Hoseok looked at him and shook his head, "No you look perfect Yoongi.  I really like it."  Hoseok smiled and Yoon smiled back, " Thanks." Hoseok nodded at him knowingly.

Yoongi looked at the photo again and chuckled, "Was it really necessary for you to add all of those hearts?"  Hoseok gasped, "Necessary?  Yoongi it's barely a gay photo if it lacks hearts!"  Yoongi shook his head and scoffed, "Well unlike you Hoseok, not everyone is super gay."  Hoseok laughed and rolled his eyes, "Right, because you're so straight." 

"Shut up," Yoon pulled Hoseok close and kissed him.  Hoseok's eyes widened but then slowly came to a close as he kissed back.  Hoseok pressed his hands against Yoongi's chest as Yoon held the back of Hoseok's head and his hip.  It was a slow and meaningful kiss.  Very, very spontaneous.  Especially for Yoongi.

Reality hit Yoongi and he slowly pulled away.  He looked into Hoseok's eyes, getting lost in them once again.  Yoongi cleared his throat and stepped back.  Blood rushed to his cheeks, "I-I'm sorry I don't know why I did that."  Hoseok bit his lip and looked down at his fingers, "No it's okay.  I'm glad you did."  Yoongi's eyes widened," Wait you are?"  The younger looked up and nodded, "Yeah I am."

Silence fell and Hoseok coulen't resist but to break it.  Hey how about we continue our date at Carvel for dessert?!"  Yoongi smiled widely, "Sounds perfect but I pay.  I'm taking you out.  Not the other way around." 

Hoseok agreed and the two left for Carvel.

Hoseok looked over at Yoon, who was driving, "Hey why did you pause when the fire broke out?"  The older glanced at him, needing to concentrate on the road, "What? Oh that.  I was just um . . .Scared I guess."

  Hoseok's eyebrows furrowed, "You guess?  Don't you think you'd know whether or not you were scared?  C'mon Yoongi, I'm not dumb.  You seemed distracted.  Does it have something to do with those nightmares that you said you have?"  Yoongi stayed silent and blank for a moment.

  "Let it go Hoseok," he spoke emotionlessly.  "No Yoongi, I really am concerned and I want to learn more about you,"  Hoseok turned more towards Yoon.  The older gripped the steering wheel tighter, "Hoseok seriously drop it."  Hoseok pursed his lips, "But Yoongi I want to help."  Yoon grit his teeth and sighed, "I'm fine."

"Yoongi I-"
"Hoseok I said cut it out!  Have you ever thought that maybe I don't want your help!  I said I was fine just leave it at that!  WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE THIS NOSEY LITTLE FUCK?!  I SAID NO!  BACK!  OFF!  IT'S REALLY THAT SIMPLE!  NOT EVERYTHING IS A DAMN RAY OF SUNSHINE!  NOT EVERYONE HAS A LIFE THAT'S A FUCKING DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY!  SERIOUSLY HOSEOK WIPE THAT FUCKING PATHETIC SMILE OFF YOUR FACE!  BECAUSE THE REALITY IS, LIFE SUCKS!  IT HURTS AND IT'S UNFAIR!  MAYBE ONE DAY, LIFE WILL SHOVES IT'S FOOT UP YOUR ASS AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND BUT UNTIL THEN, I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP!  I DON'T WANT YOUR PITY!  AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR POSITIVE CRAP!  Jesus Christ!" 

Hoseok teared up, "Fine!  Sorry for fucking caring!  I'm sorry that I want to know more about you and do as much as I can to make you happy!  SORRY THAT I'M TRYING TO CHANGE THE FACT THAT LIFE SUCKS FOR YOU BUT WHATEVER YOONGI!  IF YOU DON'T APPRECIATE IT THAT'S FINE!"  Yoongi's heart fell as he realized what he had done.  As if the date wasn't horrible enough as is, he just snapped at his innocent date for trying to help him.  The same date that Yoongi was astonished he could even have and had interest in him.  Had interest in him.  "Baby, I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to yell like that you just kept pushing and I-"

Hoseok looked away and cut him off, "Pull over."  Yoongi bit his lip, "Baby, I-"

"Don't call me that.  Just pull over,"  Hoseok sniffled.  Yoongi sighed and obeyed.  He pulled over and Hoseok exited the car.

Yoongi rolled down the passenger seat window and shouted out it, "Hoseok please don't do this.  Don't be like this.  I truly am sorry.  I'm just not used to people caring.  Just. . . please get in and we'll talk.  I'll. . .I'll tell you about the nightmares, I'll tell you everything just please get in Baby."

Hoseok sighed and looked away, "And what if you yell again?"  Yoongi haf hit some really soft spots that he didn't know Hoseok had.  So of course Hoseok would be hesitant.  "I promise," Yoongi said.

Hoseok licked his lips and looked down.  "Fine,"  Hoseok got back into the car, "Spill."
