Little blonde

Those lights...

Luckily enough we got in the front of the line and were giving in our tickets straight away.The air hostess ripped the tickets and scribbled on them, handed it back to us and we walked through a high tunnel the sides were folded kind of like a spring. I was sleepy and confused I honestly didn't know how we got from the airport right to the plane without having to go outside.
We sat in our cozy first class seats while dad hosted the bags in the shelves above.
We sat down when the muted fussy noise started I buckled up and waited for the plane to take off.
The air hostess stood directly beside us and explained the safety exits and the way to put on our belts.
About an hour into our flight the lady walked up to us offering me a pillow as I was trying to sleep it was 1 in the morning and I was destroyed.
I remember waking up fussy eyed when we were about to land. We waited in the plane waiting for everyone to calm down and leave the plane. We finally got up grabbed our bags, I carefully stepped on the first step feeling the Irish weather hit me. I was freezing, the Irish summer was like 25 degrees (Celsius) colder than the Lithuanian weather. I slowly walked down the steps and turned around to see my father right behind me.
The rest was a blur I remember stepping into a car and saying a quiet hello. I got out of my sleepiness and decided to sit up to see the beautiful lights reflecting off each other,the Dublin City lights, of course I didn't know that until Neringa noticed me looking and explained I looked at her dazed but happy with the information.
"You can sleep you know " she whispered smiling
"Yeah but I don't want to miss out on anything"
"Trust me your not missing out on much it's all just fields, I'll bring you shopping tomorrow"
I smiled and nodded.
I slept through the 3 hour drive and woke up again when I heard my dads voice. I looked up to see them getting out and Neringa looking at me telling me we are home. I got out of the car and stood by the booth waiting for further instructions. Dad quickly opened the door and turned on the stair light, Neringa gestured me to follow her and she walked me to my room. I got undressed into my underwear and she tucked me into the bed.
"I'll turn on the heater and set it to be on for an hour ok ?" She said bending down to turn on the switch.
"Thanks" I whispered
"I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight"she walked toward the door.
"Goodnight" I mumbled sleepily.
She walked out and left the door slightly open as I wasn't comfortable with being in an unfamiliar room in the dark.
I woke up suddenly remembering I was in Ireland I sat up shocked and looked around.
The carpet was Maroon the walls were a run down beige the entire room was old fashioned I was in a single bed, beside me was a bed stand with two small drawers and ahead of me was was a wardrobe that was built against a wall and in the middle was a small dressing table. I climbed out of the bed carefully not making any noise and put my clothes back on I creeped down the stairs and looked both left and right. I walked into the dark cold kitchen that was on my right and seen Neringa and dad talking.
She smiled
"Well lord bout time you got up" she giggled
I smiled and whipped my eyes.
"What time is it?"
"It's nearly 2pm" dad smirked.
"Oh" I sighed.
"I'll get you breakfast and give you a shower then we'll go shopping" Neringa said shooing dad to go get ready.
"Thanks" I whispered.
we stepped out the door and the warm breeze hit me sending shivers down my spine. That was going to take a while for me to get used to. In front of me was a navy Audi 06' I stepped in the back excited to go out and experience the town a bit. Instead of turning into the town our neighbour,Lauris, had drove around the town and down along a long road with loads of trees. 40 minutes seemed to drag on forever until we reached Balina. We got out of the car and Neringa smiled at dad.
"I know what you want" he sighed laughing.
"Yeah, please"
"How much" he laughed rolling his eyes.
"A hundred should be enough I hope"
"Fucking hell woman" he raised his voice and lowered it deciding not to get involved in the lady stuff.
Neringa smiled took my hand and walked towards a big glass building "Penneys" I craned my neck upward and decided I was going to enjoy this.
We went up the moving stairs up to the kids section where I was fascinated of all the clothes I could see. Straight away Neringa started grabbing clothes and asking me if I like them of course I love them I was dying to try them on. After an hour of shopping we bought the clothes and were on our way out.
"You know I always wanted a sister never got one until now even though your like my daughter" she laughed.
" I wanted a sister too" I smiled, weighing out the options if she actually likes me.
Fingers crossed.
Dad was leaning against the car smoking and looked up at us.
"Your done"
"Yeah and we didn't break your bank account" she laughed handing him 50€.
"Thanks" he said surprised.
We drove back home.
Straight away I thanked them for the clothes and waited for Neringa to go upstairs with me so she could pick out my clothes. I looked up at her smiling with my eyes shinning.
"Is that what I'm going to wear?" I smiled.
"Yea if you like it ?"
"Yeah" I smiled excited.
She hurried me down the stairs and met Lauris, he was at the door talking to my dad.
We walked across the road to the same type of house as we lived in except bigger and a lot more modern inside.
The warm smell welcomed me into the house. I looked up and smiled shyly. A blonde beautiful lady opened the door and smiled and greeted me.
