Spirit Animals - A Yoongi fanfic

Two

"What do you mean I have a lot to learn?" Jimin asked, mimicking my voice.

"You better be glad I called lilac away. She would probably bite you right now." I teased. Jimin's eyes widened and he looked terrified. "I'm just joking, she only attacks if I tell her to or if she is defending me against a physical attack." I assure him. He sighs with relief and nods.

"So you said you had six other friends that are like brothers. Can I meet them?" I ask. "Yeah." He replies shortly. "Can any of them call their animals?" I ask. Jimin shakes his head and looks at the ground again.

"Jimin don't be ashamed. It's okay. You guys will eventually get it. Don't worry." I assure. He hesitates but nods and starts walking. I run up to his side and walk with him to where ever his friends are.

Many steps and turns later, we arrive at a door. Jimin does some sort of knocking pattern before the door opens.

There is a boy about jimin's height. "Chun MiYoung?" He asked. I smile and nod. "What's your name?" I ask. "Min yoongi." He replied, leaning against the doorframe.

"So what is a top trainer like you doing here?" Yoongi asked. "Well jimin here was harassed by some trainer, possibly low trainer, and I saved the day. Well mainly lilac but I helped." He cocked his head to the side and gave me a questioning look.

I hold out my wrist slightly and show him my tattoo. "Ah, lilac is your wolf's name?" He asked. I nod and smile. "She is my best friend, as strange as that sounds." I tell him. "It's not strange, but don't you have tons of friend due to your class?" He asks.

"Nope. I am always being swarmed by people and I am too busy trying to get away to make friends. Lilac has been with me since I was born and she always understands me. I sometimes doubt anyone could truly understand my better. She knows me in more than just a 'I came to you and know everything' way. More of a, 'We have been best friends for 16 years so I know you better than you know yourself' kind of way." I explain.

"That's deep." He says. "I just gave a whole speech for two words". Jimin and yoongi chuckle. "Come in before someone sees us and then we can talk more." Yoongi said.

Jimin and I step inside. There are five couches and four beds along with a television and some big doggy beds. "Where did you get those?" I ask and point to the dog beds.

"Oh, that was the last thing namjoon's mom gave him before she passed away. He kept them but never used them. None of us seven can call our animals."

"Would he mind if lilac uses it for now? It looks comfortable and she likes to know what's going on when I meet new people." I ask. "I don't mind." A boy said as he walked out from the kitchen area. It was openly connected to the main room with the couches and such. "I'm guessing your namjoon?" I ask.

"Yep. No need you introduce yourself, I know who you are. I am guessing lilac is your wolf and if so, it's fine if she used the beds. We have no use for them." Namjoon said.

I twisted my arm so my wrist was facing in front of me and lilac appeared with a flash of light. She walked up to me and pushed me back using her body. "Lilac they are fine. They are nice." I assure her.

She stops pushing me and looks up to me. When she is on all fours she is up to my waist so she didn't have to look up too far. "Namjoon says you can use the beds." I tell her and point to the beds. Lilac immediately runs to the bed. She does a few circles in place before laying down with her head facing us so she can watch me.

"Good girl" I praise her. She huffs in excitement. "So what is your animal?" I ask after turning back to namjoon.

"A polar bear." He responded. "Cool." "I wonder if it's fluffy or not. I have never seen one in person and mine has never come out of dormant state." He added.

"Namjoon is like the father of the family. He always makes sure we are kept in order and behave." Jimin said as us four sat on the couches.

"Does he ever worry about himself?" I ask. "Nope." Another boy says as he walks in the room and sits next to namjoon.

"Well then that's probably why your polar bear stays dormant. You worry too much about others and never yourself. It doesn't want to give you another thing to worry about." I conclude.

"Seriously where do you get all this?" Jimin asked. "When you have a bond with your animal as strong as I do with lilac, you understand their world and mind a lot better." I respond, gesturing to lilac. "Is lilac your wolf?" The unknown boy asks. I nod and lilac huffs.

"Well I'm Kim seokjin, just call me jin." He introduced himself. "What's your spirit animal?" I ask. "Cheeta." He responded. "Let me guess, you always care for the six boys before yourself and you basically teach them right from wrong. You also have fast reflexes and are keen on details."

"Bingo." Jin says. "How." Yoongi asks. "Like I said, lilac really helps me understand spirit animals more and their main reasons for choosing who they do. Each person is different though and has those reason nobody else does." I explain.

"How about this, yoongi explains his personality and you guess his animal." Jimin proposes. "Alright." I agree.

"Well I like music and peace, I also like eating and sleeping. I am swag and I don't really care about what others say about me." He says. "Are you layed back and relaxed?" I ask. He nods.

"Panda." I say. All four boy's jaws drop and their eyes widen. "I'm right aren't I?" I ask.  Yoongi pulls up his T-shirt sleeve to reveal a panda tattoo on his left bicep. He was really muscular but now was not the time to think about that.

"JUNGKOOK, TAEHYUNG, HOSEOK! GET IN HERE!" Jin yelled. Three boys came in and the one with a baby face immediately noticed lilac. He looked at her then me and he seemed very aware of everything and tense even though there was no threat.

"Baby face's spirit animal is bunny." I say. Everyone looked completely shoked. "How?" Baby face questioned.

"You noticed lilac and everything else the second you entered the room. You seemed tense though there is no threat. You knew everything in your surrounding area." I explain. "Your right, I'm jungkook." He greeted. "I know I'm right, and I'm chun miyoung." I smile at him.

"What are your spirit animals?" I ask. "Squirrel." One of the them replies. "Energetic? Sweet? Caring?" I ask and all seven boys nod. "And you." I gesture to the other one. "Fennec fox." He answers. "Unpredictable, obviously adorable, fast on your feet." I say. "Did you just call me adorable?" He asks. "Yep!" I reply.

"So what are your names?" I ask the two boys. The one with the fennec fox is Taehyung and the one with the squirrel is hoseok.

"Where are all your tattoo's?" I ask. "Jimin's is on his upper chest to the left, Taehyung's is on his ankle and so is jungkook's. Yoongi and namjoon have it on their upper arms, Yoongi's left arm and namjoon's right arm. Lastly, hoseok and I have ours on our right wrists." Jin answered.

"Every spirit animal has a reason for refusing to come out of dormant state. I already figured out why for a few of you but I don't want to dig into your personal problems, I know it can be hard." I say. "Thank you for respecting us but what do you mean 'I know it can be hard'?" Hoseok asked.

I let out a long sigh. This is gonna hurt to talk about and I literally just met these boys.
