Spirit Animals - A Yoongi fanfic

Eight

I pull away from yoongi after what feels like an eternity. Yoongi looks at me and offers a small smile.

I smile back weakly and wipe the tears off my cheeks. Lilac nudged her head into my stomach so I pet her.

"Thank you too lilac." I whisper. She continue to lick my arm and hand in a desperate attempt to cheer me up.

"Want to cuddle?" Yoongi asked. I look at lilac and she gets off me. I call her back in before looking back to Yoongi.

We got to the bed against the wall and lay down. He pulls me into his embrace and I snuggle as close as possible to him.

Two days and I have already fallen for him.

I wake up still in Yoongi's embrace. He was snoring quietly and everything was dark.

I must have fallen asleep and slept away the day. Not that I mind, I still feel tired.

I close my eyes again and attempt to fall asleep. Yoongi's intoxicating smell only lured me further into sleep.

"Miyoung, wake up." A soft voice says as they shake me. I open my eyes to see yoongi looking at me.

"You slept the entire day yesterday. You must be hungry." He whispered. I nod and stand up, following yoongi to the kitchen.

I pull out a bowl of cereal and pour a bowl before adding milk and sitting at the table. Yoongi does the same and sits beside me.

"Do you feel better today?" He asks. I nod as I shove a spoonful of cereal in my mouth.

"Thank you for being there for me." I say after swallowing the cereal. "Always." He replied.

We ate the rest if our cereal in silence. I put my bowl in the sink and sighed.

"I have to sneak in so I can get all my cloths." I say, looking at yoongi. "Okay. Should I come with you in case you get caught?" He asked.

"No. She might have someone there and if so I don't want you near the house." I respond. He nods and puts his bowl in the sink as well.

"Just be safe." He says as we walks out of the kitchen. I let out another sigh before going to the door.

I open it and walk out, calling lilac as I do so. She appears in a flash of light and walks beside me to the house.

Once I arrive, I see my window is still open. I call lilac back in and climb through the window.

I grab the small duffle bag in my closet and stuff all my cloths into it. I then grab the special treats I bought for lilac. They weren't the dog kind, they were made for large carnivorous animals such as wolfs and big cats.

I zip the bag shut and throw it out the window. I jump and land on me feet. I grab my bag and run for dear life.

I arrive to the alleyway and stop running. I rest for a second and catch my breathe. After a few minutes, I continued to the door.

Right when I was about to knock, the door opened and Jin pulled me in. I gasp in shock of the sudden action.

"Yoongi told us what you did. Are you okay?" He asked. "Yes, jin, I'm fine. My mom wasn't there and I got everything I need." I respond.

He sighs and goes to the couch, sitting down beside namjoon. "I was scared that something would happen to you." Namjoon says as I sit down on the couch.

"I'm fine." I repeat. I call out lilac and she immediately goes to the doggy beds, knowing there is nothing wrong with me.

"So you're staying with us now?" Hoseok asked. I nod to answer his question.

"Did you sleep well." Jungkook asks as we walks in from the kitchen. "If this is what I think it's about then drop it." I reply.

"Well I'm not going to see something like that and not ask. Strangers don't just cuddle all day long so I was curious." He continued. "There is nothing going on." Yoongi says.

Jungkook looks at me and I nod to confirm. "Told you." I mumble. I look over to namjoon who looks like he is trying desperately not to say something.

I glare at him, knowing exactly what that something is. "Got something to say joonie?" Jimin asks with a smirk.

"Nope. Why do you ask?" He replies. "You just got that look." Jimin answered.

"Okay so since I'm here for good, I can help you guys call your animals." I change the subject.

"YES!" they all shout. "You and hoseok have already called your animals so why did you say yes?" I ask, looking st yoongi. "Because we both want them to be able to call their animals." He replied.

"Okay so first is jin. I already figured out your problem. You care too much about everyone around you and not enough about yourself. Similar to hoseok. From what I heard, he was too dedicated to making others happy and he didn't care about himself. He started making himself happy and boom, hope shows up. So just start worrying about yourself and your health more." I stare at jin as I lecture him.

"Okay, but how do I know if my spirit animal still feels if they will be a burden or not?" He asked. "Well you will hear a voice. It will sound like me or any of the boys talking but it will be a unknown voice. That is your spirit animal and no, nobody can hear them but you. You have to try as many times as it takes to talk to them. Even if you think it sounds stupid, don't stop or else they will think they will be a burden and they aren't worth your time. Do NOT give up on your cheetah." I explain.

Jin nods and smiles a bit. "I will do whatever it takes."

(A/N) - Hello everyone, in the last chapter I asked you guys to go over to chibichuuu's account and look at her book.

Well sadly, she will be taking a break from wattpad. I am not sure for how long but honestly, it isn't important.

She asked me to explain to you guys in hopes of you understanding, so I will.

She received news that her uncle passed away. She is staying strong but she decided she needed a break from wattpad.

She will leave 'traces of us' as is until she returns to writing, whenever that shall be.

I hope you will all be supportive of her decision and understand that her life comes before writing.
