Jin POV:

"What do you think about this exam (Y/n)?" I asked her. I looked over at her and saw he zoning out. She was looking down at her feet playing with her fingers.

"(Y/n)?" I shook her shoulder and her head shot up and faced me.

"Yeah? Sorry. I was just thinking of ways we could study. I don't think it's gonna be hard. I mean, we got a lot of time on our hands to get a better understanding about the topic so it shouldn't be hard. The professor is too lazy to create a hard test so that should be helpful in a way." She told me. I nodded and smiled. When we reached the coffee shop, we walked in and ordered a small coffee and sat down. We unloaded our backpacks and started studying.

"Alright, so Abraham Lincoln met...." I trailed off into my thoughts. I often wondered if she liked me. Just a little. I mean we have been friends for a while. Since for who knows how long. I never-well I try not to think of advancing in our relationship and keeping it as just best friends. I feel comfortable right were we are.

"Then now is were we talk about the- Jin?" She snapped her fingers in my face and giggled. Her laugh sent my heart flying. Why is that?

"Are you even listening?" She asked.

"Uh yeah! Of course. Just continue." I smiled and so did she.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. So what else did Lincoln do?"

(Y/n) POV:

You glanced at Jin from time to time as you both wrote down notes from the book. You noticed that over time his appearance started to become more and more attractive. How typical the cliche story must go as the girl best friend falls for her best friend. Well, You couldn't help it. Jin's looks were basically everything you wanted in a guy. But you were too afraid to allow the relationship to go any further. The last time you told your guy friend that you liked him, well you never saw him again. He disappeared and you thought because the friendship wouldn't be the same since you liked him and he didn't feel the same. And that's what your feared. Losing a friend just because of some stupid feelings. You try to lose the urged of liking Jin but each day it seems like his attraction was pulling you closer to him.

Time skip:

"So Abraham Lincoln didn't think blacks were equal but he still wanted peace some how." Jin restated as he looked at his notes while walking down the side walk.

"Right but since he was helping them it made the confederacy upset." You told him. You made it to your door step and took out your house keys. You lived alone in a single bedroom apartment but on weekends you spend it with Jin, binge watching shows and playing video games.

"Wow usually it takes ages to get back to your house. Now we are here in a jiffy." He said laughing.

"Well do you want it to take ages to get here?" You asked putting the keys into the door.

"Well, yeah. That means I talk to you longer." He said which made you stop.

"I-I mean, talk to y-you longer about t-the exams coming u-up. Heh heh.." He said pulling on his collar. You laughed to clear up the awkwardness.
