"I wouldn't have convinced you to move here if the men were bad." Said Shayla as she shrugged while walking to the kitchen. "The men here are EXTREMELY good looking. Especially the ones that are six feet and up." She said and then you rolled your eyes, flipping another page in your book as you were still learning Korean. You knew most of it but it was still hard to carry conversations, so you made sure to tell right off the back that you weren't good at it at all.

"You're... you're crazy. I think height doesn't.... matter?" You said in Korean and she clapped, holding a hot dog in hand.

"Yes ma'am! Speak that language! That was better than last week!" She joked before nodding. "You're right but still, I like mine tall." She said and then went to sit next to you, tossing one of your braids to the side. "What's up now? You only go back to reading when you're about to head out." She said and then you closed the book.

"Well, I'm gonna head to the library today and there's a few certain books I need but they're deep inside the library apparently so I'll need to ask for help but I don't want to sound stupid when I talk so I'm just... going over what I've learned so far." You said and then stood up. "As much as I hate the library, I should probably head there now, it's open by now." You said and then grabbed your bag.

"Be safe! And look for man! If he cute, ask if he got a friend." She whispered loudly just to be extra and you shook your head before closing the door behind you.

You drive to the downtown library and walked in quietly. Good thing you wore flat shoes so that your foot steps wouldn't be heard. You wandered around for a bit and then took out your phone and read the name for the book. You decided to at least look for it before asking help just in case it might've been in plain sight so you did. You went deeper in to library, making all sorts of twists and turns reading shelf after shelf until you got bored.

"I'm never going to find it." You huffed and then leaned against the wall, looking at the last shelf until you heard a cart being pushed. You looked around the shelf and saw black haired man, similar to your age, pushing a cart of books around. He stopped momentarily to look at his phone and then placed a book on the shelf. You saw his name tag but you couldn't see from where you were so you squinted your eyes. He looked up and saw you and you dipped back behind the shelf and start to walk away.

In your mind, he was fine. He wasn't fine fine, he was fīnę. But of course you bricked the opportunity to talk to the boy. Or did you? You still haven't found your book but you were nervous that you'd say something dumb either English or Korean. But you womaned up and looked for him again. This time you saw him from behind and you walked up to him. You tapped his shoulder and he turned around and took out an earphone that was playing some soft music.

"Hello, do you need help?" He asked really nicely as he gave you his full attention. You stood there, feeling all your words getting caught in your throat and you lost all the learning of how to speak. It was that real, or his beauty was that real.

"I-erm-see I-" You looked down at your phone looking for the book's name. He waited patiently, figuring that you were foreign from your stutter and your nice smooth skin color. He didn't assume you spoke English so he held back the question. "I don't-uh-speak..." 'Speak What?!' You scolded yourself for not even finishing your sentence and then he chuckled. His chuckle was smooth and then you looked at him as he smiled.
