Namjoon (Part Two)

You drove down the highway making your way down to an area to see your long time friend. Your tears blurred your vision, making you let go of the wheel from time to time to wipe them away. You were breathing harder than before trying to keep a steady grip on the wheel as your palms were sweaty.

"Focus-just you have to get there." You said as your vision swelled back up with tears. You didn't even bother wiping them.

You heard a car honk and headlights blind you. To steered off to the right back into your lane.

"I-I can't make it there.... i need t-to call him...." You drove to the nearest exit and pulled over to an empty parking lot. You pulled out your phone and dialed the phone number with a shaken hand

"h-hey... yeah um listen. m-me and uh-uhh namjoon we had a-a fight a-and-" You placed the phone in your lap and cried. The sound of your crying was muffled on the another end of the line. "and he wouldn't just listen so I left and called it quits."

"What did-"

"He just wasn't the old Namjoon I knew alright. The one me and you know. He wasn't caring. I couldn't do it anymore just understand that." You said as you started pulling yourself together. "l-look, the thing is, I need you."

"Y-You need me? But I d-"

"Please.... T-Taehyung-ah..." You're lip quivered as you held back more tears from falling. Taehyung was out of town with his family for his break off from working. The group didn't really know about you guys friendship at all. You guys been friends for who knows how long. Only he knew that you started learning Korean for the guys so you'll better understand and it was supposed to be a surprise for Namjoon but.... yeah.

"Right now?"

"Ne."

He sighed. "I can't believe he's do something like this to you- ya know, give me at least a day or two. I don't want you to suffer too long. You're too special to go through this. Alright? Don't cry anymore. That's not good for you're pretty skin."

You laughed and sniffed.

"That's the laugh I wanted to hear. I'm packing up as we speak. Wait. Where will you stay?"

"Um, probably in my car. I only have a few important things like money and a blanket." You told him.

"Please be sure to not eat junk for the time being ok? And where are you?" He added.

You told him the streets name and what buildings were near the area so he could find you.

"Good. I'll be there shortly. I'll be off!"

"Alright love you Tae." You said quietly. You looked out the window and saw the sky darken.

"Love you too. See you then!" You could tell he was smiling on the other side.

"Bye!" You gave a weak smile and hung up the phone. You heard the rain starting to make pitter-patter sounds on the roof. You sighed deeply and remembered a few times where Namjoon  would try to write some songs for you on days like this.
