Probably won't be more than a few chapters. You can call it a one shot. Just trying to explain how I feel in a story c:
Isaac and Drake have been together for four months. They're still at the honeymoon stage. You know, when the couple act like newlyweds and stuff. It's the best part of a relationship, and neither of them wanted anything to change. See, they've both had tough lives growing up, and meeting each other was such an incredible thing for both of them.
Drake is 22 and has been dealing with selfharm for a little over six years. His family never found out until he'd decided to quit. He hid it from them basically because they were the reason he started this addiction; he grew up in a broken home, and it wasn't the best situation for a kid who was already bullied at school. He's been clean for around five months, thanks to his amazing boyfriend.
Isaac is 19 and has been diagnosed with depression at the age of seventeen. Though he's known he's been depressed ever since he tried killing himself at twelve. He's attempted to kill himself a little over twenty times in the past three years. But the attempts stopped ever since he fell for Drake.
The two met online. At first it was just ranting to each other. Then it started getting more serious, like they couldn't go a night without talking to each other. They had a difference of 7 hours but they still made it work. They talked 2-3 hours a day, but it was worth it.
After moving in together, everything seemed perfect. Their families had finally accepted them and the fact that they're together. They had each other to depend on. They kept no secrets and weren't afraid to share anything with the other. They were even engaged and soon to be married in a few months. What happens when Drake suddenly tells Isaac that he has to leave, for at least a month, with no explanations on why or where he's going? What will happen to their relationship, and will Isaac be able to trust Drake?
