Isabella's POV
I can't belive wat I saw they just jumped out I cant believe we did not see that I knew something bad was going to happen.
Let me tell you something about the dark ones back in the dark ages there was a group of vampires who would killed anyone unwillingly
They were the dark ones and wat makes them evil is that they were so good before they turned.
Some were vampires like us others, were humans.
My uncle Azerio (dad's brother) was a jealous man, he was soo corrupted with blood and power he forgot that this land was supposed to keep us safe.
He was outraged when my father became king he did something that was clearly against the law he drained the blood of the maid without
getting rid of the pain she was forced so my grandmother ophelia banished him and told him he will never be king.
He left and hid in the woods for many years no one saw him again rumors were that he died for lack of blood ohters said he turned into a 'dark one'
Back to the story
After I got out of the shock I look to the ground and see my parent laying there dead their throats have been split open and their bloods have drained form their bodies
" Mother, Father NO!!!" I yelled
Then I saw him my uncle Azerio, " Hello Isabella dear"
" What did you do?!" I asked
" I did something I always wanted to do, you see Isabella when I have been keeping tabs on you and this land for quite sometime now pretty much when you were born, and I was just angered that you became the queen when your a woman not even a husband to have as a king" he said
" You killed your own brother how could you?" I asked
" How could I? How could you become the ruler of this nation when I am more qualified to become king" He said.
He looked at me with an evil look
" Now the whole nation will see you crumpled and dead nad they have no choice but to put me as ruler" He said
" Noooo" I yelled
I did wat i could and ran
