Standing back on the grand black stage, Phil could see darkness where the crowd should be, since the stage lights were too blinding to see through. The adjudicator stepped onto the stage, a different lady from earlier, strutting in golden heels, a white tight dress and curled brown hair. She smiled at the three dancers and shuffled her papers, "Lindsey Holphman, bouncy and elegant with your blue dress dear, an 87."

A light applause congratulated the dancer and she stepped forward to curtsey.

"Arianna Kreese, I loved the song, beautiful legs, and wonderful tutu, you were as beautiful as a snowflake, a 92."

Finally, all eyes turned to the tall male ballet dancer, and the judge cleared her throat before turning to Phil, "Philip Lester, most graceful across the floor, your jumps were magnificent, and the costume really fits the mood, a 96."

Shock filled Phil's veins, almost as if he had heard the woman wrong, a 96?

The truth rolled over him as he realized he stood there with his mouth slightly open and was snapped back to reality when the cheering in the crowd reached his eardrums. Smiling and bowing, Phil took the 'Most Outstanding' trophy and a gold medal.

Once again he walked off the stage, trying to hide the smile on his face and keeping his head down before he felt hands grasp his cheeks and looked into two dark brown eyes as a happy grin shined on Dan's face. "I knew you could do it."
