Feeling a little embarrassment as they stood backstage, in view of about twelve dancers and nine crewmen, Phil shrugged. Instead of keeping hold of Phil's face, Dan held one of Phil's hands as he led him back out to the boys change room- which was once again empty except for the presence of winter light and bags.

Phil suddenly realized something, this was his last dance at the competition. He would have to be leaving soon.

Dan watched as Phil hopped over a bag and shuffled things around in his own bag. Phil pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, and in messy writing wrote down his number on the slip. He took Dan's hand and set it in Dan's palm. Then he picked up his backpack that had stayed overnight and stood up, looking Dan in the eyes right before there was a knock at the door.

"Phil? If you're in there, it's mum, we have to leave now." Said the familiar voice that belonged to Phil's mum.
"Okay, I'll meet you in a minute."

The couple moments of silence was broken by Dan, who smiled, "So, see you around Phil Lester?"

"Yeah, definitely," Phil answered with a slight tone of sadness as he turned and started walking towards the door out.

"Wait-" Dan said as he stepped towards Phil and grabbed his arm, "I believe you owe me something from what we missed earlier?"

In a cage of confusion, Phil was pulled toward Dan, and they kissed as Phil felt the same feeling he felt on stage- and he never wanted to leave. It felt as everything was warm and the world didn't matter, but that couldn't last long, and Phil broke apart from Dan.

"I really have to go- my mom, I have to go." Phil stuttered.

"It's fine," Dan smiled, the same glint in his eyes as from when Phil met him, "I hope to see you around, call me," he planted a light kiss on Phil's cheek, "Bye for now Lester."

Backing out of the room, Phil grinned and in the doorway paused, "don't worry, I will see you soon, Howell."
