CHAPTER 2: Complicted

NOTE: I don't know much about Barbra... growing up, I never really paid attention to her because TBH i never liked her dating Dick.

I put her to act like some girls would react if their boyfriend shows attention to another girl and act differently.

Dick arrived home and threw his keys on the table. He passed a hand through his hair and sighed. Barbra was fast asleep, so no questions from her such as "how did it go?"

"Izabella Quinn, I haven't heard that name in such a long time..."

Dick took off his coat and walked over to his laptop. He searched up more information about her, everything that has happened in those five years they were apart.

Izzy Quinn also known as ACE, the Daughter of Harley Quinn and The Joker have been taken in by BATMAN and his sidekick ROBIN. While miss Quinn, refuse to speak about her actions before the arrest, witnesses have claimed that time before, she was indeed alone with a boy.

Dick flinched at the memory some of him betraying her. How would things be if I didn't listen to Bruce? Would she have followed the path of her parents? Or give up on all the evil? Would she said be... insane? ... would she still love me?

"Damn it." Dick said pushing away from the table and grunt angrily before slamming his hands on the table.

The door to the bedroom opened and out came Barbara with her hair in a bun and sleet eyes.

"Dick..? When did you get back?"

"Oh.. not that long ago." Dick said closing his laptop and quickly put the letter in his pants.

Luckily for him, Barbara was too sleepy to notice any of his movements.

"What happened? What were you doing?"

...or so he thought...

"I was doing nothing, it was nothing. We should go to bed, you are already tired enough." Dick said grabbing her hand and dragging her away to the room while also placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Why did you searched up this 'Izzy' last night." Barbara asked as Dick gripped on to the wheel, driving over to Bruce's place.

Dick cursed himself in the head. "I really should have closed the tabs before I closed it. " he thought as Barbara kept trying to get answers out of him. Apparently, he was so tired that he fell right to sleep and while he did, his girlfriend went back to check the laptop.

"You can't keep ignoring me Richard."

"I'm not Ignoring you."

"Then why aren't you answering me? I'm just asking you a really simple question. You not answering is making this into a more difficult situation."

"You asking is a difficult situation enough. It's just something I can't-"

"So she is a difficult subject."

"Well you can say-" Dick said parking his car and unbuckling his seat belt.

"All I ask is for you to trust me. I'm your girlfriend can I at least get a bit of that. You are secretly searching up girls on your laptop better yet, an evil one at that-"

Dick closed the door and walking over to the Mansion where Alfred awaits.

" I see you gotten yourself in a crazy situation." Alfred said

"...involving a crazy person.."

"I wasn't finished speaking." Barbara said when she caught up  with him to the front door.

"Sorry love, haven't noticed." Dick said praying she forgets about it.

Alfred leads then both to the batcave where Bruce was looking things up.

"Bruce, can you be the one to explain things to me? Who is Izzy?"

Dick sighed while Bruce looked away and looked at them both.

"All do respect, Dick should be the one to inform you on that. "

"Nice Bruce.. niceee."

"Alright alright fine. Izzy is te daughter of Joker and Harley Quinn." Dick said

"I'm sorry, Joker's and Harley Quinn's daughter?" Barbra said with a confused place.

"Our first reaction exactly. While her parents were at the looney bin, she was sent here to be taken care of and be straighten out by Bruce. For a moment, she was good but.."

"But..?"

"Something happened and she got thrown in Arkham Asylum herself. Never heard of until-"

"Recently. Someone broke out of Arkham Asylum recently and some evidence was left behind. " Bruce stated

Barbra and Dick looked at each other before walking towards Bruce.

"This evidence, actually might be a confirmation after all. It's a video."

"We could just throw her back in there. What's the issue with that ?we've done it before with others."

"This is like is like no other. And you know that very well Dick." Bruce said playing the video

Before Dick can speak, a familiar voice played from one of the security cameras.

"Helllooo Gotham, Bats and Bird Brains! I'm backkk! Hahaha did you missed me?!? Because I sure missed all the chaos and fear I caused! ACE is showing herself off!"
