ON TO THE STORY

" Now can we talk?" Barbra asked as Dick sat on the couch.
"Ba-"
" Please, that's all I'm asking."
Dick sighed and leaned back on the couch while Barbra sat next to him.
"So... Ace is truly Harley's and Joker's daughter?"
"Yes. It's hard to believe at first but trust me, she's the really deal."
" She stayed at the place with Bruce and You, did you guys become..close?"
"... you can say that. We discovered many things about each other and trusted each other like-"
"Boyfriend... and girlfriend..?"
"Friends. We trusted each other like friends." Dick answered
"Why do I get a feeling, that something more happened between you too?"
Dick sighed and rubbed his hands on his legs.
"Bruce said she was different. And for the record, this is the most I have ever seen you.. obsessed."
Dick look at her strangely and was about to interrupt.
"Whenever Bruce mentioned her, you look in pain. Especially watching that video, you had a mix of sadness, softness, and annoyance in them. Dick, did something happened between you and her before you met me?"
"It was complicated, okay? We were close friends."
Dick takes Barbra's hand and holds them.
"You're my girlfriend now. We shouldn't look back at the past and focus on the future. "
Barbra nodded and He kissed her forehead.
"So.. you guys didn't date or anything?"
"We were friends."
Barbra smiled and hugged him while he laid his head on hers.
"...but she's back now. God knows what she is planning now.." Dick said sighing
" We'll just have to stop her right? Throw her back and everything will be normal."
"Hate to break it to you, it's not that easy. I don't think it will ever be. " Dick said making a face
" It never is but we always win in the end"
"Barbra, this is Harley's and Joker's daughter we are talking about! Joker's little princess! Everything they do is some big twist and entertainment for them. " Dick protests
" You say that like you know them, we know what they are capable of. "
"No we don't. We never do with Joker, his bottle blonde, and definitely not Izzy."
Barbra made a confused face and looked down at her lap.
"Hey, how about we just rest up? It's been a long day." Dick said placing a hand on her thigh.
Barbra smiled and nodded before cuddling close to him.

Ringing reached the ears of Dick, waking him and Barbara up.
Dick sleepily reached over to the phone, answering it.
"Hello?"
"An attack at a hospital. Everyone is locked inside and the place has been taken over. I'll send you the address." Bruce said before hanging up.
Dick got up and start shaking Barbara awake before rushing.
"Suit up, attack at the hospital."
Barbra quickly got up and out the window they went. ( it sounds weird, but whatever...)

Barbra suited up as BATGIRL and Dick suited up as NIGHTWING quickly got to the hospital where Batman was already spotted.
"What do we do?" Nightwing asked
"This place is surrounded, there's a possibly we have to make ourself a entry." Batgirl said
"That's what we do, we go-"
"EYES UP HERE IDIOTS OF GOTHAM!"
Batman looked up followed by Nightwing and Batgirl.
There stood a woman with short platinum blonde hair with bangs, a black choker, Black and white corset, high knee-ripped black socks and high knee leather heelless black boots.
To top it off, she wears a black leather jacket with a A on the back. Once you get a closer look at her, she has smokey eyes and dark red lipstick.
"You guys though I was gone forever?!? YOU WISHED!" Ace yelled before laughing loudly
"Izzy.." Nightwing said watching her from a distance. Her laugh triggered back everything to that very night. "What have we done.."
"FOR MOST OF YOU, this is end of the line. Terrible isn't it?" Ace said pouting and running a finger down her cheek making a fake tear before laughing again.
She whistles for one of her henchman who came quickly. She shoves her gone towards him to carry and turned back around to walk back inside but something caught her eye that made her turn back around.
"Something the matter Miss Ace?" Her henchman ask making her snap her head towards him in confusion before relief.
"No, nothing. I thought I spotted something familiar... and reminded of something.." she says turning fully around and started walking away before stopping in front of him.
"Also.."
"Yes?"
"Reach out to Mommy and RED HEAD for me..." she said smiling
"And.. the boss miss..?"
"Mmmh... sure! Throw Daddy in the mix also!" She chuckled before walking away.
A/n: sorry, I was away on vacation for a week and was still trying to fix this chapter.
