Chapter 1

I wake up to horrible with only a bit of hope I call Mizzy. I want her to be happy.  I look to her bed to see her, crying over a picture of David. I get up to comfort her and let her cry in my shoulder with me being taller. Mizzy is a genius. That's why she was taken. To build weapons for Massie and her boyfriend, Lucas. He's a demon that helps Massie fight The Powerborns, a team of heroes. Flower girl, (Massie's sister) Sorcerer, (Lucas' step brother who hates him) Songknight, (A girl like Nikki), and the leader, Ultimate Phantom. She comes from the future like Mizzy.

"MIZZY! MAYA! GET OUT HERE!" Massie screams. I look at Mizzy, who now is crying harder. "Mizzy, we need to leave. Okay dear?" I say to calm her down. She whimpers a 'okay' and gets off of me. I wipe her tears. I smile when she does. I help her to the main room. Massie glares at us, angry that we weren't fast enough. "Where the hell were you?" Massie yells. "We just woke up." I say since it was kinda true. "Whatever, get ready to beat my stupid sister." Massie says, walking away. Cassie, Massie's sister, is very kind.

Once in our costumes, we go into the streets of New York city. Mizzy and I don't fight but they force us to come. Ultimate Phantom or U.P. says "I hate this Royal pain." which she referring to Massie who's villain name is The Queen. I am Siren, Mizzy is Inventor and Lucas is Demonic. They start fighting. I realize that there are more heroes who are standing at side. Four to be exact. One catches my eye. He looks likes David. I run and pin him then whisper into his ear "Freeze time now."

He follows my instructions and since I was pinning him, I was able to move around in frozen time. He looks at me,confused. "It's beautiful to be able to control time, isn't it?" I say, looking around. "Who are you? And how do you know my power?" He ask angry. "You only need to know my name which is Maya."I inform him as I move the villains and Heroes so the heroes win.

"That doesn't help me at all!" He complains. "Just unfreeze time." I say as I grab his hand. He does so with much force, interesting. We lose and the heroes win. Once Massie was done with her 'I hate you all so much.' speech, we leave to our rooms.
