It was dark. Darker than black, darker than black ink. Darker than oil, or charcoal. This concerned you; what was happening? You don't remember anything. You try to move, but it doesn't feel like you're moving.
Actually, it doesn't feel like you have a body whatsoever.
You listen for any signs, anything. Anything to show that you're alive. That you're not dead.
"Is that the girl?"
This voice makes you shiver. It sounds like Dark, but with a weirder voice. The words are exaggerated, in a way.
"Yes."
This voice also sounds like Dark, but lacking emotion. The voice doesn't seem to show emotion whatsoever.
"She seems weak. Not very strong. If we track her location and follow her, there is a very high chance that Dark is with her. You're strong, aren't you? Can you get us out?"
They are talking about you. You feel sick now, knowing you are eavesdropping on this conversation. But something pulls you in, telling you to listen on.
It's not like you have a choice, anyways. You can't exactly walk away.
There is silence for a while. Then, a voice.
"Yes. I'm not as strong as Dark, but i'm sure I have enough power to get us out. From there, we just need to....Find her."
Its the dude with the weird voice again. Fear strikes you, knowing that these people are tracking you down. You soon feel yourself becoming whole again, and soon the conversation is gone.
You hear a voice calling your name.
"(Y/N). (Y/N)."
You suddenly open your eyes, taking in a deep breath. You're sitting on Dark's lap, facing him. He has a look of concern, but it soon changes to relief.
"(Y/N), oh my god. I thought I lost you."
He hugs you, tightly. You blush, and hug back.
"Never leave me again."
You stay silent, and close your eyes in consent, showing that you are okay with this. This is such a calming situation, and Dark's embrace calms down all the thoughts that were swarming your head a second ago.
You decide that this is not the time to tell him about the voices, and simply smile gently.
"I won't."
(Wow, this was a short chapter. Sorry for not updating in a while, I haven't been motivated. Anyways, can you guess who was talking at the very beginning of the chapter?)
