We walked to the pickup station and pulled out our I.D badges that have our hologram button, celebration of birth and what grade of education we were in. The security that check these badges was my least favorite person in the entire community. And there were A LOT of people. His name was Mr. Burgenhimmer. He was on the heavy side, crown hair, darker skin and yellow eyes like everyone else. "I.D's?" He asked. We pulled our cards from our pockets and showed Mr. Burgenhimmer. "You have to get your I.D.'s renewed really soon or else they aren't going to work and let you into the transportal tubes and you will have to walk." He ordered. "Yes sir, thank you sir." Jack said in a quiet voice. We stepped into the two separate tubes and Mr. Burgenhimmer hit the button, and up we went. Looking through the clear glass down at the city was one of the highlights of taking the tubes. Plus, it's the fastest way to get around town.
