Guadalupe "Lupe" Clearwater, related to Leah and Seth Clearwater on her dad's side, has been trapped into the body of a wolf since her 9th birthday when hunters came after her and her parents. The death of her parent's triggered her first shift and...
That was so weird. Never once have we ever had any ounce of hesitation. When it comes to survival there was no time for hesitation. It led to failure or death. Now all of a sudden, some wolf comes along to mess it up. It's weird and I don't like it. But unfortunatly, ever since that encounter, my wolf is telling me to stay. So looks like I'm crashing here for awhile. Might as well go find a new den. Maybe see if I could go scavenge that meal from earlier. Slowing my pace to a calm gallope, I go in search for a new home. It's boring really, being stuck like this since I was 9 and suddenly there's no playtime or friends or school or anything. Alone and forced to care for yourself or get killed. While every other kid got to play and be as carefree as can be, it's not fair.
Focusing back on my surroundings, I smell something. I'm not sure what it is exactly but it's recent. The scent itself has my wolf's full attention. As if nothing else mattered. The scent led to a nice 2 story house. Examining the house I hear one person in there. And by the smell of it, it's the source of the delicious scent. Finding a sense of comfort, I lay on the ground by a tree that provides a good amount of cover. I close my eyes, feeling my hearing range extend to the point where I can hear what is happening inside the house.
"Yes. We-I gotta find her, Sam. She's my imprint."
"I'll take care of it."
"I'm gonna head out tomorrow to see if I can find her."
"I don't know! A den, a dead animal, whatever it takes."
I open my eyes when I hear the person inside slam a door shut. I get into a sitting position and wait to see what the person is doing. The window of the room is open so I have a perfect view inside the room. The person inside pauses as he passes the window. Almost as if sensing me. And I must have jinxed it because next thing I know we're making eye contact and he's racing down the stairs and towards the front door. Upon seeing me, he runs towards me making me panic and run the other direction further into the woods. That didn't stop him though. He continued chasing me through the woods, keeping a close distance at all times. It was weird because it was as if my wolf was playing with him by not going our full speed. Feeling the game, I begin to jump and zigzag through the trees. Yipping and barking in excitement. I stopped suddenly as the man jumped infront of my path. Once again we made eye contact and the blue hue returned to my eyes. But this time something was different from the last time. A warmth filled my body and the popping and cracking of my bones rearranging could be heard by my play mate. He smiled widely, a full blown attractive smile.
I go to move but am met with the once known uncordination and confusion. I looked towards the ground and see that I have 5 fingers. Fingers! My fur completely gone leaving me a shivering mess.

The guy noticed this and went to go look for something nearby, not even a minute later he came back with what seemed like clothes. It's been so long since I've put on clothes. The feeling of it against my skin seems so foreign and strange. When I was done putting the clothes on I turned to see the guy turned around, his form stiff.
"Are you okay?" I ask, whispering. Since my human speaking english is a bit rusty.
He jumps before turning around again to look at me. His eyes qickly scan my body, from my bare legs to the oversized tshirt he had handed me. Clearing his throat he answered, "Y-yeah. Just a bit surprised you phased back on your own. From what you told Sam, it sounded like you didn't know how to."
"I don't."
"Oh. Well, we'll figure that out tomorrow. How bout I get you home?" the man suggested.
"I was actually in the middle of finding a new den before I found yours." I replied honestly.
"Right. Right. How about you stay in my hou-den for the time being. Just until we figure things out." the man rushed out nervously.
"Okay." I agreed. He nodded in agnoligment. I waited for him to lead the way but he stood there, not uttering a word. I cleared my throat, catching his attention.
"Right, sorry." he muttered quietly before beginning the quest back to his den.
"What's your name?" I asked, frustrated with myself with not finding out sooner.
"Paul" he answered, "never quite got your name either."
"My name is Lupe."
"Well, Lupe, do you mind telling me how you got here?" Paul asked.
I looked at him as if he were delusinal. "My wolf brought me here. Then we met your alpha, and from there I would think you know the rest."
"No, I mean like before that."
"I was looking for a den but paused to look for a meal but then it was taken from me by some weird man. Poor buck went to waste when the man drank him dry. Then the man chased me onto your land where you found me."
"Not quite what I meant but we'll get there." Paul said, more to himself than me.
Before having the chance to say something else, my stomach lets out a gruesome screetch. Paul turns to me quickly.
"Oh shit. When was the last time you ate?" he asked worriedly.
"I believe about 3 days. I'll just go hunt for us to eat." I offered before turning around and walking back towards the woods.
"No, no, no, no, no. I've got it covered." Paul said, whispering to himself, "this is gonna be a long night."
