Once Yui was finished and had some rest, Koro-Sensei asked Yui to meet him. He told her she could try the exam again once she feels better, probably tomorrow considering the shallow cuts.
"Thanks..." Yui mumbled. She was upset that she couldn't finish the course but at least she was getting another chance. "Mhm, you can go now. Keep up the good work, you have a lot of talent." Koro-Sensei said causing Yui to smile brightly.
"Thank you, see you tomorrow Koro-Sensei!" Yui said and Koro-Sensei said his goodbyes as well.
Yui laid on her bed, wondering what to do. Since she already finished her assignments, she asked Kayano to hang out with her but she was already out somewhere. She wanted to ask Itona but was a bit uncomfortable of the idea.
Yui remembered how he was upset with her, his anger radiated off of him like heat.
She sighed to herself, rolling off her bed and pre-checking her work.
Just then the door bell rang.
Yui's parents weren't home so she went to the door, peeking through the eye hole... Itona?
Yui checked herself before opening the door, "Itona?" She questioned, "Hi Yui... Just dropping by to check on you. Are you feeling better?" Itona slowly asked and I nodded.
"Honestly it doesn't even hurt anymore but I still keep the bandages on because I don't want to open the cuts. You want to sit inside?" Yui asked and Itona shook his head no.
"I'm good, just checking up on you. And here," Itona then moved his hands which were behind his back and presented a box that smelled of food, "My mom and I made this..." he added as she blushed.
"Y-you didn't have to..." Yui stuttered, taking the box and bowing in thanks.
"Don't worry. What are friends for?" Itona said, completely friend zoning the moment, "I'm going to go back home now, bye" he said and was about to leave when Yui suddenly grabbed his arm.
Wait, why did I grab his arm?! Yui yelled at herself.
They both stared at each other awkwardly and Yui slowly let go of his arm.
"Er... Um... " she mentally screamed to myself, why did I do this?!
"Thanks." She simply said, looking down with a deep blush on. "No problem," he replied, patting her hand before walking away.
Yui couldn't help but smile, i'm so stupid.
