What a day.
I walk back up to my room after helping Mom redecorate the place, everything is finally getting better for once. As soon as I enter the room I remember the burden I am faced with outside my window and to be honest I couldn't help but look into Levi's room. My eyes met his instantly and it took me a moment to realise he was shirtless, I quickly turn away and cover my eyes not because it was bad because it was good, insanely good. How does he have so many tattoos?
"Earth to Zandra, can you hear me"
"Oh, I'm sorry..." I shake my head looking at my brother Toby "I was lost in thought" I fake smile.
"What were you thinking about?" he says lightly.
Oh nothing much just Levi's shirtless body and his chest tattoo...
"Just school, a new beginning... again" I say looking into Levi's room, but now he seems to be gone.
"Don't stress kiddo. You're likeable so you'll make friends easily. Just be yourself, I'll talk to you tomorrow." he smiles while getting up and heading towards the door.
"Oh, and by the way, this 'Luke' kid," he says using his hands to make air quotes, "isn't gonna happen." He suddenly stops and turns to me.
"Who's 'Luke'?" I mock him.
"The try hard bad boy next door. He's gonna be a bad influence, I'm telling you now to stay away...Good night Zandra" he says walking over and kissing my head.
"Good night." I smile glancing back at Levi's window seeing him laughing at my interaction with my brother. I get up and give him the middle finger and close the curtains.
"Wake up sunshine." Mom says walking in and opening the curtains. I groan at the sunlight and cover my head with the sheets. Wow, I didn't even realise that I fell asleep.
"I'm heading over to the mall to get my nails done, are you in or are you in?" she says taking my sheets and throwing them on the floor.
"I'm out, I have a big day tomorrow. First day of school remember?" I say sitting up.
"Oh, its nothing you haven't done before" she grins and I give her an 'are you being serious Mom' look. "I'm joking hun ill see you soon, also Toby is out so you're alone so just be safe." she says and heads out.
After I do myself up for nothing, I head back to my room and go on my phone. I glance over to my window. "Oh shit" I drop my phone on my face as I see Levi sitting there smiling. So I go over and open the window.
"Hey sweetcheeks" he smirks.
"What are you doing? You scared the shit out of me" I say, still trying to catch my breath.
"I wanted to see you" he says as if it was obvious.
"There is literally a front door, do you know the function? You knock on it and I open the door for you." I say in a sassy voice.
"Too basic" he laughs and I can't help but join in.
"How'd you even get up here?" I question .
"The power of the trees." he says and jumps into my room without any invitation.
"Anyways, what you doing?" he says sitting on my bed, "You know what? I don't care, because I'm taking you out." he smirks.
"Um, no you're not"
His smirk suddenly disappears.
"Why not? Scared your dad will find out?" he laughs and my eyes go wide... he doesn't know.
"Not at all I'm just getting ready for school" I clear my throat.
"What? Am I making you nervous again? I saw you cover your eyes, it was cute" he laughs.
"Besides, who the hell needs a whole day to get ready for school?" he questions.
"Me, I do" I say still overthinking his previous comment.
"What's wrong? Want my shirt off?" he says, trying to lighten the mood.
Suddenly the door bell rings. Saved by the bell.
"You should go now," I say pointing to the window.
"I'll just chill here" he says getting comfortable, I roll my eyes and head to see who is out the door. I open the door and see a ...cute boy?
"Uhh hey. I'm Ethan, I live across from you and my mom told me to drop this off. Welcome to the neighbourhood " he smiles handing me a plate wrapped in tin foil.
"I'm Zandra, nice to meet you. Want to come in?" I cringe at myself for asking because of who's upstairs.
"Um no, he can't come in" I hear from behind me and mentally shake my head.
"Ethan, what are you doing coming into my girlfriend's house?" I see Ethan's face in shock and I already know mine looks the same.
"Levi I think you should leave" I look at him seriously and he just laughs.
Two can play at this game...
"Hey Ethan, me and Levi are going out today wanna come?" I instantly see Levi's face drop.
"Yeah sure." he laughs.
"Oh yeah, and he's not my boyfriend. We're just friends" This is gonna be fun I think, while Levi's jaw clenches.
"Both of you meet me back here at 5, I have school to get ready for now." I say and Ethan laughs and waves while heading out.
"I said both of you" I stare at Levi who looks like he's gonna explode.
"You could have played along, you know, to the whole boyfriend thing," he smiles innocently.
"You wish." I lightly punch him.
"I do" he says under his breath catching me off guard.
"Alright I'll go now, see you soon." he says opening the front door. Why did I want him to stay?
"Aren't you going through the window?" I laugh and he smiles.
"There is literally a front door, do you know the function? You enter and leave through it." he says mocking me in the same sassy voice and then leaving the house.
He's cute, I guess.
Wait, is he? What am I thinking?
I walk away from the door and head back in my room. "OH MY GOD" I scream.
"What? Relax, you left your window open. I told you I'd see you soon," he laughs.
"Don't I get a kiss?" he says and smirks.
"Don't make me push you out of that window" I say walking up to him.
"Is that a threat?" he asks bringing his face close to mine.
"It's a promise" I say doing the same.
"Alright then I should leave, the window is pretty high, see you at 5, sweetcheeks." he says breaking the tension and climbing outside of the window like it was nothing...
What... a... tease.
