Autumn,9th

Dear dairy,
Sometimes I am so close to killing my so called 'friends'. They just get on my nerves so easily.

Well McNamara isn't so bad,but if you push the wrong buttons she can be one small devil.

Ugh.

I can't wait 'til I get to run off to college. Gotta fight the urge to light a match and set that dump a blaze.

I looked up from my writing. I finally arrived at my destination.

The small coffee shop on the corner.

As soon as I took a step inside. I was greeted with the wonderful scent of coffee and sweets. It made me smile brightly.

While I walked to the counter my black heels were the only sound other then people talking quietly. They clicked against the tiles.

Click

Click

Click

The counter now stood in front of me. I smiled at the person behind the counter. They looked very familiar.

Tick

Tick

Bam

"Heather!?" I yelled

"Shh!!" Heather McNamara put her pointer finger to her lips.

"Sorry," I whispered back "why didn't you tell me you work here!"

She shrugged "it's only temporary."

"Oh."

Heather grabbed a sharpie and set it beside her "W-What drink do you want?" She stuttered.

"A tall Carmel Flan Latte." I said without hesitation. Obviously because I order it every Friday after school.

Heather smiled and nodded. She walked to the back room and came back out. You can sit over there. She pointed to a small booth made for 2 people.

I just nodded and sat down.

After a minute or two. A man with a large black trench coat walked into the store. He had freckles that covered his nose and cheeks. I couldn't tell if he had any on his arms because of the coat.

My face started to heat when he looked in my direction. I quickly looked back to my diary which I set on the table.

Then someone quickly snatched it from me. I looked up shocked and angry.

It was none other then Ram and Kurt.

Kurt was holding it looking at the cover while Ram had his arm around his 'friend'.

Yeah no. Everyone knows they're gay for each other.

"Kurt! Give it back!" I raised my voice and stood up.

Kurt looked at me and scoffed "Why?"

"Because it's mine." I folded my arms.

I know I'm acting like a 5 year that got it's stuffed teddy taken away. Look I've had a bad day,the Heathers are devils and now Kurt is being an ass.

"Awe. Are you gonna cry?" Kurt said in a voice you would use to talk to babies and dogs. Then the guy in the huge black trench coat stood behind Kurt.

"She said Give. It. Back." he growled. Kurt turned around as Ram walked over to the gate to the go behind the counter.

He went behind the counter and took his coat off quickly he hung it on the wall. Hm. Didn't know he works here.

Stop breaking the story, Veronica!

Sorry.

Just get back to the story we're probably annoying the reader!

Okay,geez.

Anyway. Back to le story.

Kurt growled "This coffee shop has a no faggs allowed rule."

"Then you better get going with your little friend." The guy leaned closer to Kurt still growling like a pissed off mama bear. Kurt threw the book back onto my booth table and went over to the counter.

"Thanks. . . ." I mumbled with a red face.

"Greetings and salutations," He smiled "I'm Jason Dean, but you can call me JD."

"Cool. I'm-" just as I was about to say my name Heather yelled "ONE CARMEL FLAN LATTE FOR RONNIE!!!" my face turned a brighter red, which,I didn't think was possible.

"Give me one minute," I nervously chuckled. Briskly I walked up to Heather and thanked her for the latte. I took it and walked back to him "as I was saying. Im-"

"Ronnie." He brightly said.

I laughed "Close enough."

"May I take a seat?" He pointed to my booth. I nodded.

He sat silently and waited for me to sit. I quickly did.

"So? The diary?" He asked while pointing to it.

I made an awkward face towards the book "Yeah. I write in it, obviously."

"That's cute." He said barley audible, but lucky for me I heard him.

Again,my face was back to being as red as a firetruck.

"Uh-uh," I stuttered and even fumbled on speaking "YOU'RE CUTE!" I blurted out. Quickly I covered my mouth with my hands.

A few people stared with a questioning look then went back to their business.

He nodded "Thank you."

"Yep." I said while clutching tighter to my coffee cup.

"I'm quite proud of myself," He spoke, great another self-centered jerk, "I was able to speak to a very beautiful lady today!"

Never mind!

"Thank you?" I was able to say.

"You're quite welcome, Ronnie." He said calmly.

He took my dairy and flipped to an empty page. Quickly he took my pen and scribbled something down.

I raised my eyebrow in confusion.

He set the pen down and handed me my dairy. I looked down, it said:

Call or text me sometime.

*insert some random phone number*

I smiled and closed the journal.
