Chapter 3: The Day I was Adopted

(For people what Belle looks like it up here. Next chapter will show Sapphire.)

Chapter 3~ The Demons

Belle's POV:

Today was the day. Visiting Day. Today kids get adopted by visitors that like them, the visitors have a week span of keeping them before returning us. 

I woke up extra early, 2 am to be precise. I grabbed the bucket and sponge, and went to work on the floors. I used all the elbow grease I had in the lobby. When it was about 4 am, Sapphire came down stairs and grabbed the extra sponge, and began helping me. I gave her a confused look. She just smiled back at me. When it was about 5 am I asked Sapphire to go back to bed, because I didn't want Marley to catch her with me. She agreed and hurried up the stairs, I waited a good 5 minutes before going up there and doing the bathroom. All that went through my head was 'this is going to be a long day.' 

The voices in the back of my head kept whispering, "nobody will ever adopt a loser like you. You're disgusting, I mean look at yourself, you're fat, ugly, and nobody wants a daughter that self harms."

I just went on with my chores, but I lazily finished the bathroom. I tried to keep the voices out of my head, but I don't think it worked out so well. I went down to the cafeteria and started making the breakfast which today was French Toast. I hope that they don't complain about this one. 

Everyone started to get in the line, with Marley in the front. I can't wait til I get adopted and she's out of my life.  I waited til everyone was out of line til I picked up my food, which was only one piece of French Toast. I looked at it in disgust as the voices kept saying, "What are you doing! Trying to make yourself even more fat!" I couldn't deal with the voices telling me this, so I just left and got ready for the visitors.

Sapphire's POV: 

It was 4 am and I noticed that Belle wasn't in bed, I got up and quietly went down stairs. I saw her there I could tell she was extremely tired, so I went to help her. I grabbed the extra sponge and got on the floor next to her and started to scrub the floor. It was about 5 am when she asked me to go back to bed, so I didn't get caught. Again I went up the stairs quietly and tip-toed to my bed. I lied there for about 5 minutes when Belle walked in to do the bathroom. She finished in about 45 minutes, and then she went down stairs to make our breakfast.

I stood in line to wait for my breakfast, I could tell how tired she was, from the dark circles under her eyes. I had my food and drink and went to sit with Marley. Once everyone got their food, I saw Belle leaving the room, I didn't bother to go after her so quickly. 

I waited a good 5 minutes before I dumped my tray and went up stairs to get ready. I entered the room and saw Belle sitting on her bed crying. I ran up to her and hugged her. Her voices were back. Last time Belle had her voices she tried running away. She was probably going to do something other than run away, maybe something much worse. 

I got into my nicest dress which was a Sapphire Blue, it matched my blonde hair and blue eyes. I also straightened my hair, and placed on my makeup, which was only foundation and mascara.

Belle's POV:

I've been in the room crying for 5 minutes and then Sapphire walked in, she knew what was going on. She comforted me, and then got into her blue dress. I got into my army green dress, it matched the color of my eyes, and it went well with my straight brown hair. I finished my outfit off with some foundation and mascara, I just added a bit of pink blush. 

Ashton's POV: (what?!)

"Guys I told you I want a daughter, she will be the perfect addition here." I kept telling the boys.

"Ash, but what if she.. you know is.. suicidal?" Calum stuttered.

"It doesn't matter if she's suicidal! You judge way to much Cal."

"Can we just stop fighting we're here." Michael said shyly.

Belle's POV:

Every girl went to the lobby to see the visitors, before I knew it girls were screaming left and right, I'd never been so confused in my life. I had my head down, until I saw 4 pairs of shoes right in front of me. I slowly looked up, and there I saw 4 cheery boys. They seemed to be in there twenties. They then hundled up and started whispering to each other.  I then knew it, I was being adopted. The tall giggly one said, "would you like to be adopted?"

I nodded my head yes, and then silently told him to come here. Once he did, I whispered, "can you also adopt my best friend?"

He stared at me for a while and than motioned the others to him, he told them and I saw them nod in agreement, he came back to me and asked, "which one is she?"

"The one in the Sapphire blue dress, she has blonde hair and blue eyes." I replied.

He uncrouched and looked for her, once he found her, he explained that she was getting adopted with me. I looked at her and her face beamed brightly. 

The went to the desk and told Ms. Donas who they were adopting, she came to me and Sapphire and said, "go pack your things girls, you've been adopted."

Sapphire and I ran to the room and started packing, We grabbed what clothes were given to us, and then grabbed our necessities. Which for me was my box of razors, my makeup, my brush, and my toothbrush. We then ran back down stairs and went on our way, we were finally out of this hell.
