Chapter 04

Four: This School Is A Zoo

After few days, still no one tried to talk to me. Even the teachers. They seldom call me for recitation. My classmates labeled me as a "complete shut-in nerd" which I don't bother at all. I don't even care if I have no partner in this seatwork in Biology right now. It is piece of cake because it's about different kind of flowers.

"Excuse me. Can you be my partner?"

I look up and see a girl with brown hair. I gave her a small smile.

"Sure. I don't mind."

She pulled her seat next to me.

"You're almost done. Amazing!" She said in a positive manner.

"My grandmother raises every kind of flower sooo..."

She looked at my paper with shining eyes and mouth open. I chuckled.

"Anyway. My name is Momozono Nanami." She offered her hand which I took and shake it.

Nanami? Did I hear her name before?

"Nice to meet you. I'm—"

"Mitsuo Hanari!" She cuts me off then laughs at herself. I look back at my paper.

"They have been saying bad things about you. I apologize in behalf of them."

I shake my head.

"You don't have to. I don't mind them at all."

We started having conversations about getting to know each other. I like her because she's always happy and always take things positively.

In the middle of our chat the door slightly opened and let out a smoke. I can see black feathers flying then the door completely opened. It revealed a guy with red hair who actually looks like a rock star.

The girls blushed and their eyes formed into a heart shape.

"Good morning, ladies."

He winked and they started screaming while the boys shot him an annoyed face. Urgh. I think I hate him already.

He walks towards my seat and leaned down.

"Excuse me, pretty girl. But this is my seat."

There was silence in the room. My brow instantly raised and I crossed my arms.

"Says who? You could see I'm already seated here."
