A/N: Hi people! I am back. After how many months later. It's always like this, trust me. Anyway, sorry for not updating the next chapter last year. Things got complicated the last time I updated the previous chapter (writers block). Well, since it's my summer vacation, I got the whole month to update this story (probably). So, here we go. Sorry again! :)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
It has been, 1 month and 37 days since I moved in the Henderson household. Seems more like a year. If only Danny didn't exist, things wouldn't be so...complicated. I can't stand another month with the boy! He's a spawn of Satan! He's got tiny horns hidden in his hair. I still can't believe Caleb said he's a nice guy. Like I'd believe that. Okay, maybe there's a slight chance I would believe it.
Hey, I'm turning 18 in a couple of weeks, maybe I could rent an apartment then stay there for the rest of my life. Yeah, that's good. Brilliant plan Michelle, brilliant.
I looked out of the window, watching the clouds float by. Cloud watching is my favorite thing to do when I'm bored, especially in class. I'd always make sure I get a window seat in every class. It's really relaxing until the teacher realizes you're not paying attention. "Ms. Smith? Did you hear what I said?" Mr. Helms called out my name. My brain suddenly went back to reality. "Hm? You say something?" I looked at Mr. Helms who had a bored look on his face. "What do you think Ms. Smith?" He gave me a cold glare. I tugged my sleeves down, trying to avoid eye contact with him. I didn't give him a straight answer. I just sat there quietly. "I thought so" He said. turning his attention back to the board. You know, Algebra can be a pain in the ass, especially the teacher in charge of the subject.
I looked like I was paying attention to the lesson; but really, I had all my attention to the clock above the board. Only 30 seconds left till the bell rings. At least its Friday today, I can just lay on my bed all day and wake up on a Saturday afternoon. That happened to me once; I slept around seven in the evening and then I woke up around four in the afternoon. No one even bothered to wake me up. When I mean no one, I mean my dad.
Ring
Finally. It was about time you rang. I grabbed my stuff and shoved it all in my bag then headed out of the room. As I walked out of the school, I waited by the bench in the front yard of the school. Looks like Louis is late today. I tapped my foot on the floor while whistling the tune of Boyfriend. No, not Justin Bieber's song. It's the Boyfriend version of Big Time Rush, they're OWN version. I'm not a big fan of Justin Bieber, I'm more on the Rusher side. (A/N: Every story I write has Big Time Rush in it. It's an addiction I need therapy for).
LOUIS, where the hell are you? I've been waiting here since 3:30 pm. It's 4:59 pm already! Soon to be five o'clock. That driver better have a reason why he's late. I mean, the school was completely empty. Only the janitor roamed around the corridors. It's getting pretty creepy around here. Then I heard chatters coming from the school's field which was on the right side of the school. I turned around to see the football team leaving the field. I guess they had to practice for the game next week.
"Michelle?" Someone's voice echoed from behind. I stood up and turned around. "Caleb?" My voice became a little high pitched when I said his name. "What are you still doing here?" He asked, setting his duffel bag down.
"Well, my driver's running late. A bit too late actually"
"Oh, maybe something came up"
"Hopefully, or I'm gonna smack the crap out of that guy" I pounded my right fist on my left hand. Caleb chuckled a bit then he sat down on the bench I was sitting on. "So why didn't you call him?" Caleb looked up at me. Oh, why didn't I think of that? Wait, of course, THE MAN HAS NO CELLPHONE. He still lives in the 19th century where cellphones didn't even exist. Well, that's what I think. "He doesn't have a phone" I sat down beside Caleb. I looked at my watch waiting for a limo to pass by. "Well, I guess you're gonna have to go with Danny" Caleb said, looking up at the sky. Oh darn, now I have to go with the devil's son. Why didn't I just walk back? It's only 40 minutes away, but it would be worth it. Right?
