1k!!!! Thank you all so much!
I can't believe people are actually reading this! Every time one of you comments or votes it makes me so happy! For a long time I actually thought it was just me reading my story a million times trying to find ALL the flaws, but most of you are actually from Amarica. It's really cool to see all the different countries like the Philippines and South Africa.

On a completely unrelated note,
SUMMER VACATIONNNN!!!! *Creeps out parents with screeching* It's finally here. Goodbye school, hello staying in bed 'till twelve!

I have so much news... BUT I CAN'T TELL YOU 'CAUSE IT WOULD SPOIL THE BOOK!!

Shmeh

Oh well *shrugs*

So, here's what's going to happen, first-

SHUT IT *slaps sense into self*

Moana POV

Moana awoke to a big fluffy thing whacking her head, she wildly hit the air around her and tried to go back to sleep, but was disturbed by an insistent finger poking in her side.

She rolled onto her back and looked into the tired eyes of Percy Jackson.

"You snore louder than a walrus," he said, not bothering to lower his voice for her tired ears.

"What the heck is a walrus...?" she asked with a croaky voice.

"You probably don't have those here, a walrus is a big ball of blubber that lives in cold regions." He chuckled, "Point is: they are masters at snoring"

"Gee thanks, I'm flattered."

"You're very welcome."

She huffed and told him that since they were both awake anyway, they might as well grab something to eat.

He perked up, "That's a great idea! You're a genius! Now let's go, I'm hungry."

Moana raised her hands above her head and stretched. When she twisted her torso she was sure she heard her back cracking. Gods that feels good...

She stood up and followed Percy out of the hut. He looked a bit lost, turned right and walked toward the neighboring hut. Should I tell him, or should I see how long it takes him to figure it out?

She shrugged and walked in the opposite direction, towards the campfire where a few people were already sitting. She called over her shoulder, "other way stupid." She chuckled as she heard his hurried footsteps behind her.

"I knew that."

They walked up to the campfire, each taking a plate. A friend of her father's, Henare, skillfully cut a coconut and handed it to Percy. With a confused expression on his face, he looked around the group and tentatively raised the coconut to his lips.

She received her own and took a big gulp, her mouth was still dry after the salt water that had entered it during their late night swim and the sweet liquid was very relieving. She thanked the man and sat down.

When she was barely halfway done eating, she looked to her side and noticed that Percy's plate was already empty. Trying not to laugh she handed him the bowl of produce and watched him happily take a number of fresh fruits.
