"Oh honey" Alex voice came out muffled "you'll be ok"
"I know" my voice comes out strained. "It's just that I'm glad that everything is over. All the pains. All the sufferings. All the sleepless nights. All the abuse, it's finally over" I reply giving out a hearty laugh. Alex soon followed till she had tears in her eyes.
To others around, we would look like two patients that had escaped from a mental hospital. Me a broken girl and Alex a nutter but who cares
The darkness is now a thing of the past so with our sorry asses we kissed it goodbye.

"Alex" I said panic coating my voice" I don't have anywhere to stay now; you know since my parents passed away in a plane crash and I left my boyfriend, Ex-boyfriends place and..."
"Oh, my God. I'm gonna be homeless. you'll see me living out on the streets like some hobo begging for necessities. what if I got raped or what if someone tried to kill-"
"Oh, my God Luna. shut the hell up before I cut your tongue off"
her threat immediately made me quite. my best friend can be seen as quite intimidating with her long vivid red hair and piercing blue eyes, but deep down she was a big softie the thing with my best friend is that all though I know she loves me but I wouldn't doubt her
Alex rolled her eyes "you're not going to be living on the streets or get raped or killed."
"Then where would I live?" I asked
"Hello" she waved her hand in my face "have you forgotten that I'm here? I'm your best friend Luna and will never watch you crumble and become a mess"
"well apart from you already being a mess" she sniggered
"Hey, I heard that" I retorted
"anyway as I was saying, I am here for you and will always be"
"so you're saying I can come and stay in your house for a few days?" I asked in disbelief
"it took you long enough to figure it out"
"Hey!" I whined
"yes you can come and stay with me for as long as you want"
"Eek!" I exclaimed giving her a bone-crushing hug. she chuckled and rolled her eyes at my antiques.
"Besides, it would be nice to have some girlcompany for a change" she said going into thought
I chuckled at her words. Alex lives with her mum Claire, dad Toby and brother Theo but the thing is her parents are always away on business trips and her brother Theo who I've never met goes to a boarding school.
