The water sliced through my fingers. It was a bitter cold but so pure that when it brushed against my fingers, it was like silk swirling around me. I loved the water so much even if I technically don't know how to swim. I feel at one with the water; I don't fear it. Well not entirely. Don't get me wrong, I am truly terrified of drowning, but as I feel the water on my hand, I'm not afraid. I just don't want to actually get in it. I should probably learn how to swim, but I don't know anyone who could help me if I start to drown. Besides, the lakes on Sugloria are too cold for swimming anyways.

The piece of wood I was floating on bumped up against the ship. I didn't know how deep the lake was, but only the end of the ship was engulfed in the water so that the head of the ship was sticking out dry. I slowly climbed onto the ship, being careful not to slip and fall in the water. The ship creaked as I walked along the roof of the giant piece of metal. There was a small hole ripped in the top of the ship.

I laid down on top of the ship and ducked my head in to see what was inside. I could see that straight back all the doors that separated parts of the ship had been ripped open and water had flooded in, but the water barely stopped where I was. Everything up ahead was dry, but since the ship was at an angle, I would have to use the walls to help steady me or else I was going to fall back into the water.

Luckily, I'm rather strong for my small frame. I was able to hold tightly to the hole opening of the ship and lower myself into the ship. I kicked my legs forward and dropped with a thud into the ship, my arms flailing and grabbing for something to hold on to on the wall. I was able to clutch a lose pipe on the wall. I stayed completely still as the ship waved in the water and settled after I disturbed it.

Slowly, I reach upward and grabbed other parts of the wall and began to crawl my way upward to the front of the ship. I was halfway there when Jay stuck his head through the opening and yelled out loudly, "How you doing?"

He startled me so much I nearly lost my grip. "What are you doing here? How did you get here?" I asked him.

"Same way you did. Didn't mean to scare you," he apologized.

"I wasn't scared, just didn't expect you here."

Didn't expect it because I don't understand how he did it. I don't understand how I did, in all honestly. How do I move wood to open and let me go home? How do I create a current to propel me forward in a still lake? I don't know. After being on my own for a while, I lived in the woods a lot. Eventually, I noticed I could do certain things. I could force wood and water to move. And since then, I've learned to do more. I don't know how; I just do.

"The capsule shouldn't be too far from you now," Jay said. "You see that wall panel just up ahead of you. They're usually kept there."

I moved my way slowly back up and to the panel. There was part of a wall hanging off in front of the panel, I pulled my body up and was able to stand on the hanging metal wall. Looking at the wall, there were multiple empty holes and the some of the holes had capsules half way in their spots.

"Which one is it?" I called down to Jay.

"The tag should read E0921."

Just barely still in its spot was the capsule. I took it and tucked it into my belt so that I can free my hands to get back down. Somehow.

"I've got it." I told Jay.

"That's great. Now jump."

"Jump?" I asked him, double checking I was sure of what he said.
