“Da-ding!!” I role over, almost falling off my bed and see that I got a text. It reads
“Hey, its Jc. I was wondering if you wanna maybe go hangout of something.”
As soon as I saw that message I jumped out of bed and started jumping up and down. Noticing that this i could possibly already have a crush on this kid. With all the excitement I almost forgot to reply back.
“Yeah, sounds cool.” I reply
“Great! Pick you up at 2:00”
When I looked at the top of my phone I saw that is was 1:45. How am I going to get a shower, get dressed and eat in 15 minutes? I hurried as fast as I could and just as I put my toothbrush back into the holder Da-ding
“Here.”
I scurry down the hallway making sure my beanie is perfectly on and my chucks are evenly tied. When I get to the door I find to see Jc, looking cuter than ever, holding 2 Arizona teas.
“You drink Arizona?”
“Are you kidding, I love it.’ I say
“Here this ones for you.” He says while handing me the strawberry kiwi lemonade.
“How did you know this was my favorite?” I say astonished
“Cause it’s my favorite too.”
When I hopped into his car I said “So… Where we goin? “He looked at me and smiled.
“You won’t find out until we get there.”
“Fine, be that way.” I said
As we arrived, he went to the trunk and grabbed out 2 bags, a camera bag and a book bag.
“You like to take pictures?” I asked
“uhh… Yass!” he screamed, as I started to laugh while covering my mouth
“I do too.” I said as I pulled out my iPhone and showed him some of my favorite pictures I took.
“Those are really good. Your ready to take some more?” he asked
“Of course but where?”
“Down there.” He said pointing at the railroad tracks next to the L.ARiver.
“Cool lets go.” I said anxiously
“Where’s your camera?” he said
“Right here in my hand, my phone.
“You don’t have a camera?” he asked
“Nope I can’t afford it.”
When we were walking down to the tracks he put his arm around me and I got goose bumps.
“You know what how bout we just lay down here and watch the sunset, its getting dark anyway.”
He suggested as he pulled a blanket out of his book bag. I watched confused but then I realized what he was trying to do.
“Sure… sounds like a good idea.”
I rather lay there with him and watch the sunset then take pictures. Waiting for the sun to go down was so pretty I never noticed how pretty it was, but being with him made it a whole lot more beautiful. Just as I thought how much i wanted him to eventually like me he put his arm around me. I get a big smerk on my face and and he gets one to. After a little while it is pitch black and we decide to go home. We get in his car and we drive off.
