I looked at my phone and saw that I hade no new messages, I started to pout, but then I just got up and went down stirs to get some breakfast. When I got down there I was surprised to see Jc sitting at my island eating waffles.
“Your mom let me in.” he said
As he pointed to the plate of food next to him. Then I just tried to not be embarrassed about how I looked and sat down.
“Come eat with me.” He said
I was still confused when I began to sit down in my chair.
“So you wanna do anything today, before we go back to school tomorrow?” he asked
I obviously couldn’t say no because he was already at my house, but I would’ve said yes anyway.
“Yeah let’s go to the movies or something, I’m dying to see gravity.”
He turned over to me with his chubby cheeks filled with food and said
“Really, I wanna see that movie to the trailer looked good.”
I tried not to eat my food so fast so I didn’t look like a pig, even though I was starving. He pulled his phone out and looked up the local movie theater.
“Okay there’s a showing at 3:20, so eat and then get dressed and we’ll be on our way.”
I took the last forkful of my waffles and shoved them in my mouth and ran up the stairs trying not to choke. When I re-entered my tumblr inspired room I looked at my Polaroid memories on my wall and hoped that Jc would be a new one. I opened my closet found my self trying to find my teal vans and my blue high wasted shorts. As I was trying to find my gray beanie and my black young and reckless shirt my mom walked into my room.
“So your friend Jc, he’s cute.” She said
“Ma." i said
When I was pulling on my shorts she told me to be careful and that she loved me. I looked in the mirror and quickly curled my hair. Lint rolling my shirt to make sure I didn’t have one speck of hair so i could look good for Jc. When I made my way down stairs I noticed Jc at the bottom waiting for me. I looked at the few steps left and when I reached my leg out to step on the last step I missed it. I stumbled right on top of Jc pushing him to the ground looking eye to eye with him, he laughed and said
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” I giggled as I got off of him, wishing I would’ve kissed him right then and there, but knowing if i did i would have regreted it.
“Let’s go.”
On the way to the movies we blasted the songs that came on from shuffle from his phone. Laughing and singing as we drove down the highway with the windows up, and the top down, it was the funniest car ride I have ever been on. When we pulled up to the theater i felt like the luckiest girl to be with him even if we were just friends and ive only known him for a few weeks. When the previews were on we passed the time by throwing popcorn at the people in front of us. After the movie we jumped back into the car and took a little detour from my house. We went to the mountains and looked at the over view of the city, and then we went to the boardwalk. We gazed over the edge and watched the oceans waves go in and out. We went on the rides and the best ride of all, the zipper, we went on it 7 times and couldn’t even speak from all he laughter we were doing. When we got to my house he walked me up to my front door and he looked down at me
“Tonight was really fun Jackie. We should do stuff like this every weekend.”
“I know what you mean Jc. Tonight was one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time, Thank you.” I said with a smile on my face. And just then I felt the moment was right, his brown eyes looking down on me and his face looking ever so handsom, I leaned in and kissed him. My lips met his and it felt like the most magical thing ever, I expected him to pull away, but he pulled me closer. We pulled away from each other and i didnt know what to do. So i decided to just run in side and hide
