When Yunho woke up, he had a blissful idea that everything was fine.
Then the memories from the last night came rushing back to him.
You know that feeling when you were doing something and in the moment it was the scariest? Then you look back afterwards and think, how could I have been so scared?
It was like that.
Yunho just brushed it off, throwing off the covers and shuffling out of the room, plodding over to the main bedroom, still half asleep. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a figure in white and red behind him. It was one of the members, right? He turned around.
"Guys -"
But there was nothing.
He stood in the hallway dumbly for a few seconds. What was that? He was certain there was someone. Certain ...
Hm.
But it was daylight, now, and all his fears the previous night seemed to have vanished. He almost felt ashamed of himself for being so scared. It was just a stupid prank by his members .. oh, Changmin was never going to let this go. He grumbled under his breath, then tripped on the carpet. Twisting around with his fast dancer reflexes, he caught the side of the doorframe and stopped his fall - then froze.
It was a slight glimpse. Not enough to make anything properly out, but ... It was enough.
The next morning, you can drain the bathtub. Now you have summoned the ghost, she will follow you around the whole day, getting closer and closer every time. If you turn around quickly you might catch a glimpse of her.
Right. The bathtub.
He scurried to the bathroom, double and triple checking that the lights were working and switched on before he pulled the plug and ran out before he could hear the awful gurgling noise that the drain makes. He hated that noise.
Just in case, he suddenly turned his head -
And saw a flash of white and red before it disappeared.
He swallowed. No way it's real.
But was it just his imagination ... Or was the flash much, much closer than it had been only five minutes ago?
He didn't give it a second thought.
Yanking open the dorm door, he just paused enough to pull on his trainers and grab a mask before he jumped outside.
Run.
If she is way too close, yell "Tomare!" Which means "stop!" And then run as fast as you can to put some distance between you and the ghost.
I can't believe I'm doing this, the same Yunho despaired for a second, before yelling "TOMARE!" as loudly as he could and he heard the skidding of his trainers as he took off at the speed of light, bolting down the street.
He could see the people on the street staring at him, and he turned a corner and dashed into a smaller, darker road. A lamppost flickered, and he almost tripped, spooked. He turned suddenly again - and saw, thankfully a long distance away, a long haired figure in red and white, watching him. Breathing heavily, his shirt sticking to his back, he turned another corner, then another, and began the run back to the dorm.
*Back at the dorm*
"Did you hear that?"
Jaejoong bolted upright. "What?"
"I swear someone was shouting downstairs."
Without a word, Jaejoong leapt up, throwing the covers off, and RNA downstairs, and Yoochun just shrugged and walked into the bathroom to do his business.
Junsu woke up a few seconds later, yawned, and was about to crawl out of the room to leave his lord Voldemin in peace - when someone shrieked so loudly it actually vibrated off the walls and echoes around the house.
Falling to the floor, he scrambled back up again and ran to the bathroom. "YOOCHUN HYUNG!"
Yoochun stumbled out of the bathroom, his eyes wide. "There's - there's -" he pointed, and before he even looked Junsu knew what it was. The stench of iron and something else was unmistakable.
Behind him, he heard a crash and a yelp of "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" and seconds later Changmin ran in. "Who screamed? What's -" he pushed open the door to the bathroom, and Junsu dived behind Yoochun and hid his eyes before he could see something that might traumatize him for life.
Silence.
"Changmin?" Squeaked Junsu. "What's there?"
More silence. Until suddenly -
"Okay, if I didn't do it, who did?" The maknae's voice was different, and Junsu managed to peek out from behind, mustering up his courage and opening his eyes.
The bathtub was empty.
Only the dark red, thick, dried layer of blood coated the inside of the tub, stains in the towels and on the bathmat and splattered onto the walls.
"Minnie," whispered Yoochun, "What exactly did you get us into this time?"
