Should I keep the baby?
That's all that was going through my head. We finally arrived to my dad's house. He got off the car but seemed angry and upset. I didn't say anything but went in along with my brother and sister.
Briana and Joshua went upstairs and I closed the front door. My dad walked to the living room holding a beer. "Sorry," he said.
I sighed and looked at him. "Dad, can I ask you something?"
He looked at me. "What?"
"Are you mad?" I asked.
He sat down and took a sip of his beer. "No shit Darcy. You're pregnant from your mother's damn boyfriend!"
"I.. I know." I said. "I didn't want this."
"So what are you thinking?" He asked.
I looked at him. "About?"
"The fucking kid," he said. "What are you gonna do?"
Keeping the baby might be a tough decision, why would I want a child that was unplanned and by someone I extremely dislike? Although I've always been against abortion and how it's wrong, I think I will end up having one. It may not be the baby's fault but I really didn't ask for this.
"Abortion is an option." I said. "But so is adoption."
He drank his beer and nodded.
"So you agree?"
"Well," he said. "I wouldn't want you to have a child from your stepdad."
"He's not my stepdad!"
He rolled his eyes. "I remember you loved him so much as a little girl. I was afraid he was going to steal my spot as being your father. Sadly, he treated you like an object and now look at you."
"Dad," I said with tears. "Please believe me. I didn't want this! I never asked for this. I was forced by him! Nobody could save me."
"I never said I didn't believe you now, did I?" He asked, calmly.
I nodded a no and looked at him. "But you're making it seem like it's my fault."
"I don't know Darcy, I don't know."
I looked at him. "Wow,"
"I'm just upset, alright? Understand that. Never did I think my sixteen year old daughter would get pregnant."
"I'm sorry." I said.
He stayed quiet and kept drinking.
I sighed and walked upstairs. My life is really being ruined. I need to do something.
