I was surprised at his answer but something about his words seemed to make sense. It was like déjà by. Almost like I already knew everything he was saying.

"No. What's a timelord?"

"A timelord is a demigod, part lord or god and part human. They can alter time as the please, however they can only change the things they've done. Are you in love with him?"

"Yes, what's a blood lord?"

"They can control the actions of others, make them sign something, unlock handcuffs, kiss you, if you will. Then make them forget. When is the last time you saw your mother?"

"The morning of the fire... If I have both powers can't I just use them at the same time?"

"It takes a lot of power, and practice, you'd have to master both types of 'magic', even then it's taxing. What happened to your eye, di-did he hurt."

"I don't know why you care, but no he didn't. It was a memory you hit me and this happened, why?"

"I'm not sure, we've never really gotten a full god before and this doesn't happen to regular timelords. Maybe it has do with your powers being quiescent for a long time, Mary erased all memories of you being diciplined-"

"Abused."

"Whatever you want to call it, and memories of you ever using your power. Tell me, does anyone know you're here?"

"There are cameras."

"Someone could accidentally erase the footage."

"Enough, if you wanted to kill me you would've, now did you ever control Mary?"

"Not that I remember but if I did our life would've been a lot easier. Back to me, you're not even human what do you think is going to happen when he finds out."

"The same thing that's happening now."

Patrick stood.

"Stop!"

He sighed and stopped in his tracks unwillingly. Am I controlling him? I took the opportunity to leave the room. I went back to my room and sat in front of the mirror. My eye was still a mixture of purple and pink surprisingly I couldn't feel any pain.

I ran my fingers through my hair half expecting to disappear. Tears formed in my eyes and my hands began to shake. He's right, John didn't want to kiss me the other day and now I have more baggage. What happens when I am forced to tell him about this. Nothing could happen between us unless I tell him about my past, my parents, it wouldn't feel right.

The tears got heavier and heavier. My mother didn't want this life for me. She blocked out my memories and forced me to forget unnecessary pain, but she also took away my past. Now I'm not sure who I am, or what my future holds. Come on Peony we can't do this right now... Fine. I climbed into bed and forced myself to go to sleep.

I awoke and my eye lids were heavy, memories of the night before came flooding back in. If i'm truly a god how come I need human necessities, I feel human emotions. This whole thing doesn't make any sense. I got out of bed and prepared for the day.

I washed my hair and braided it into two dutch braids. I stood in front of the mirror wanting to slip away from myself for just a second. I was thankful that my black eye or whatever it was had disappeared by now. Come on Peony not right now. I took a deep breathe and pushed it to the back of my head.

I went down to the meeting room and sat by myself for a while. I closed my eyes. We are okay, we're fine. What John or anyone else thinks does not matter. We are our own person and we can and do control our emotions, reactions, and our life. We are okay. I promise we got this.

"Wow."

He started clapping and I opened my eyes abruptly. I was relieved when it was Kevin and not John.

"And I thought I was crazy."

"Uh... How long were you sitting there?"

"Too long but i'll pretend I didn't see anything if we can talk."

"Of course we can talk and not just because you're black mailing me."

Kevin took a seat in front of me.

"Yesterday I told you I found my bio-mom well, she's dead."

"Kevin-"

"Wait... She died in a fire, she went inside of a burning buulding to save her daughter."

"Kevin ple-"

"Her name was Mary-Ann Lancaster, she gave me up because she wanted me to have a better chance, to grow up free. At least, that's what the stupid note said."

"You're my brother?"

"Surprise."

I was in shock for a second too long but then we both stood and met half way around the table to hug. I'm kinda jealous. Plus he gets to have me as a sister, I mean come on!

"I'm so sorry I didn't know, I was young, I couldn't have-"

"Peony it's okay, I just wanted you to know."

"Aww, I have a little brother."

I said smiling, no doubt this was the best news i'd been given in a while. I wiped away a tear before giving it a chance to fall, as I pulled away from Kevin.

"So, how's things with John?"

"What?"

"Come on, I see the way he looks at you and the way your eyes just flickered when I mentioned his name."

He was whispering.

"Wait, how does he look at me?"

"Like he has the world in front of him and if he screws up he'll lose it."

"Th-things are complicated we'll talk about it when we're not being watched."

I whispered back, then Charles and the other agents spilled into the room taking their seats at the table. I toom my seat next to John and Kevin sat by his partner, Kyle.

"Are you okay?"

"Fine, yourself?"

"I'm okay, actually okay and unlike you i'm not lying."

"Later."

"Okay lets began. As usual the folder in front of you contains everything you'll need to complete your mission. You have five minutes to read it, master it and then put it into play. You know the drill, you'll stay in transition until you master it, so get it the first time. As usual five minutes started a minute ago."

John and I began sweeping through the pages memorizing and connecting the information.

"You got it."

"Yes."

"And times up, report to your normal rooms, the administrators are waiting."

John and I were playing a couple, we were meant to befriend another couple and retrieve some important files from their computer. Like trained soliders we exited the room in order.

"I'm sorry for lying I am, and I need you to know that if you ever fall I will be there to help I promise. I need to know you'll be there if I fall."

"Peony I promise that if anything at all happens to you i'll be there. So if you're hiding something from me for any reason I need you to stop, because it's also hurting me, us."

Wow, i've known him since i've been here, and I never expected him to say that. He looked into my eyes and I remembered why I fell in love with him.

"We'll talk when you're ready, right now we have a mission and I know you're ready for that."

He took my hand, opened the door and the acting began.

Okay I know I said on Tuesday but I had the chapter ready and I forgot to release I know those are excuses but....
