You were driving down the highway in the middle of the night. Your headlights bright against the dark road. You had missed calls. None from Brendon. They were a mixture of Dallon, Tyler, and Josh. You didn't want to answer. You didn't want to call back. You knew all they would do was beg for you to go back to Brendon. You were done. You were going somewhere that would make you happy.
You stop at a red light. Your mind was racing. You felt bad for leaving Brendon like that. You built a life together. You had a house and two dogs. He wrote songs about his love for you.
You also felt relieved. You didn't have to cook or clean or try to look sexy for him.
You took a deep breath. The light turns green and you start to drive forward. You hear a honking sound. You turn your head and see it. The look on your face as another car zoomed and hit the side of your car. The side you were on. The car skidded and flipped over. You screamed as glass shards sunk deep into your skin.
You didn't care about your car, you wanted, you needed to get out. The person in the car that hit you got out and laughed. They sounded drunk.
You yelled for help. No cars would stop. You were stuck under your car, you could reach your phone.
The last things you heard was an ambulance and your phone ringing. You looked over to the screen of your phone. It was Brendon.
Who knew that this would happen in just a split second. Who knew that after a fight, you might die. All you wanted to do was go to Ryan's...
