Alissa's POV
Last night with Liam was something. There's something about him that's different but never mind that. I need to get ready for school. I grabbed something out of my closet and got dressed.

At School

I walked into the school building trying to avoid Griffin and Cleo. I went to my locker, grabbed my books, and walked to science class. I sat in the back of the room. Liam walked in with his friend Jake and they sat in the back also. The teacher handed out the tests and I started. It was pretty easy to me. Just as I was about to finish I felt a piece of paper hit my leg. I grabbed in and opened it. It said.
What's the answer to number 10?

I rolled my eyes and I looked at him. "Please." He whispered. "I can't tell you." I whisper back. The teacher came back and said. "Alissa and Liam detention after school." "But-." I started. "Detention Alissa." The teacher said. I signed. Another piece of paper hit my leg. It said.
Sorry. At least we have detention together.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes. He smirked at me then I continued with my test.

After school

School was finally over and I went to detention. Liam was already sitting in a seat. I walked over and sat in the seat behind him. "I'll be back in one hour." The teacher said. Then he left. Liam pulled out his phone and was doing something. "How did you get you phone in here the teacher took them." He turned around and told me. "I have my ways babe." I rolled my eyes. "I told you not to call me that." He smiled at me then turned back around. A few minutes later Liam got up and opened the window. "Where are you going?" "I have somewhere to be but don't worry I'll be back 10 minutes before the teacher comes back." And with that Liam left.

The teacher was going to come back in 5 minutes and Liam still wasn't back! I heard that door knob turn and the teacher walked in. "Where's Liam at?" He asked me. I couldn't think of anything so I said. "He's in the bathroom." "Alright well you can go and tell Liam he can go too." I nodded then left. I texted Liam.

Alissa-Detentions over. Where are you??
Liam-Alright and I told you I was going out.

I left the building and walked home. As I was walking I man walk up to me. I tried to run away but he grabbed my hand. "Hi sweetheart." I kicked my leg up trying to hit him in the balls but I missed. "Your gonna regret that." He slapped me in the face and I started crying. I tried pulling away but he was too strong. "Stop trying to pull away or I'll slap you again." I stopped moving and started crying. "Let her go!" I heard someone yell. I looked and saw Liam! He walked over to me and pushed the guy away. He left and Liam asked. "Are you ok Alissa?" "Y-Yeah." I stuttered out. I continued to cry so Liam hugged me. As soon as he touched me I stopped crying. "Get in my car I'm taking you home." We both walked to his car and got in.

In the car

"What were you doing out here?" Liam asked me. "I was walking home. What were you doing?" Liam sighed and told me. "That's a story for another time." After about 2 minutes of silence Liam asked me. "So do you have any siblings?" "No." I answered. "Oh so you just live with your parents?" Why did he ask that? I thought to myself. "Alissa?" "No." I answered. Liam pulled into my driveway and asked. "So you stay here alone?" "Well yeah." I got out of the car and said. "Thanks for the ride and for saving me from that guy." Liam answered. "Anytime 'babe'." I hit him in the shoulder and said. "I told you not to call me that." He laughed then said. "Goodnight Alissa." "Goodnight."

Inside

I walked in and went straight to my room. I laid down and fell right asleep.
