One month later

Alissa's POV
After a month of practically doing nothing, I was finally able to start doing things. Of course I had to ease back into things but that's a start! I wasn't looking forward to going back to school thought. Griffin got one month suspension so he will be back today. He gonna be really pissed at home. I can already feel it. Liam was in the bathroom taking a shower. I already took one because I take longer then he does.

When I woke up this morning I was really depressed and it was probably because of Griffin. All I wanted to do was be with Liam but I didn't want to be the clingy girlfriend. A couple minutes later Liam walked out of the bathroom with his hair drooping and a towel wrapped around his waist. I stared at him from the bed and he looked at me. I looked down and blushed. Liam walked over to me and asked. "Like what you see?" I looked up at him and told him. "Maybe." He smirked then walked back to his drawers. "Turn around." He said. I rolled my eyes and turned around. A couple seconds later Liam told me. "Ok your good." I turned back around and saw Liam in his boxers. He looked so sexy right now with his hair drooping and that six pack. I watched as Liam put on a pair of sweatpants with a sweat shirt. After he was dressed he walked over to me and held my hand. I looked down at the promise ring that he got me and smiled.

I looked up at Liam and smiled.

Liam's POV
Alissa looked up at me and smiled. I smiled at her. Something seemed off with Alissa today. She was still herself it just seemed like a part of her was missing. The happy part of Alissa was missing. The part that was happy and full of happiness. I mean sure she just smiled at me but it wasn't a real smile if you know what I mean. She seemed so depressed and I don't know what's wrong with her. I tried asked her what was wrong but she just told me it was about Griffin which I half believed. I knew there was something else bothering her that she wasn't telling me and I was determined to find out. But I wasn't going to pry. I know how annoying that is for someone to keep asking you if your ok.

"You ready?" Alissa asked snapping me out of my thoughts. I nodded and we both walked out to the car. Once we were both in Alissa asked. "Can you drive me to my house I forgot something?" "Sure." I told her. I knew she was lying and she knew that I knew but I still drove her there. When I pulled into her driveway she told me. "I'll be right back." I nodded and Alissa got out of the car. I watched her walk in and shut the door behind her.

I wish she would tell me what's wrong with her. I felt bad that she was so depressed and I didn't know why. Maybe I ca- "Ahh!" I heard. I knew that was Alissa. I hurried up and got out of the car. A couple seconds later I heard a gun shot and I was worried. I grabbed my gun from a secret pocket in my car and quietly ran to the door. I opened it and saw a guy standing in front of Alissa hold a gun. I was glad that she didn't get hit but I was worried for her. She looked at me and I gave her a signal to be quiet. I aimed my gun and the guy and shot him in the shoulder. Alissa jumped and I ran over to her. "Get out Alissa." I told her. She nodded then ran out. I called Jake.
(This isn't the first time I've shot someone but you'll learn about that later.)

Jake:/ Yo where are you?
Liam:/ No time to explain. Come down to Alissa's house.
Jake:/ What did you do?
Liam:/I shot someone but I'll explain when you get her. I have to go get Alissa because she's scared.
Jake:/ Ok I'll be right down.

I hung up the phone and put it in my pocket. I made sure the guy was still out and then went outside to check on Alissa. I saw her standing by the car wiping her eyes. I walked over to her and hugged her. She hugged me back burying her face in my chest. Alissa wasn't crying, she was in such shock. I rubbed my hand up and down her back. "Liam did you kill him?" She asked. "No baby." I told her. I saw a car pull up and I told Alissa. "Please be careful and just wait her. I don't know who that guy is and I don't want him to hurt you." "Liam I know who that is." I looked at Alissa and before I could asked anything Jake came up and asked. "Where is he?" I motion for Jake to come and I took him in the house.

"Who is he?" Jake asked walked up to the man. "I don't know but Alissa said she does." Jake rolled his eyes. "Well get her in here genius." I rolled my eyes and went to go get Alissa. I walked outside and said. "Come here babe." She walked over and came inside with me. "Who is that?" I asked. "Can I talk to you in private?" She asked. I nodded and looked at Jake. He walked out and went into a different room. "Who is it Alissa." Alissa started crying and I wrapped my arms around her waist. Alissa looked up and me. "That's Garret." I looked at her confused. "Who's Garret?"
