Hi Everyone, before I begin publishing my first chapter, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ximena. I'm a very soon to be plastic surgeon who has always loved to write but chose to be practical instead of brave when it came to career picking. The path to becoming a doctor has most definitely not been an easy one. However since I'm almost there, I've decided to treat myself by writing my first novel and sharing it with you guys. The Privilege of Loving is, as you all have read in the summary, about an American girl studying abroad who is caught in the World War II conflict in Europe when Germany invades France. Things become more complicated when she falls in love with the Nazi officer Bruno even though she's supposed to dislike the enemy just like everyone else. Demetria and Bruno will have to choose between love, duty, and loyalty.
