I looked in the mirror at the dress i had chose for my date with Amaru. I walked out and asked my friends Coco and Yoli for their opinion.
"I like it he would def want you back after seeing this"Coco said while Yoli look like she was holding her tongue.
"What's wrong Yoli you dont like it"Coco asked
"No it's just your doing all of this for Amaru he's not all that in my eyes yeah he's cute but he has a bad attitude and no care for others"She said
"You just dont like him'
"And he doesnt like you he's using you and i dont wanna see you crying again"She said. I ignored her comment.
I dont care how people outside my relationship thought they would never understand why i stayed with Amaru or wanted him. He gave me something i couldnt get no matter who my daddy was. A since of life. Being with him was like living on the edge.
I walked to the bathroom and looked at myself. I would call my self ugly. I was lightskin with long black hair that went to my butt I had a slender body full lips and a flat nose. I had done my make up and put on a red satin dress and some red heels. Red was Amaru's favorite color and i wanted him back.
I grabbed my clutch and my phone and told the girls i was leaving and Coco wished my luck while Yoli waved heading to her dorm.
When i got downstairs I seen a black Range Rover. I expected Amaru to step out but to my surprise a tall brownskin man with dark curly hair a lot of tattoo's and i mug stepped out. He looked my up and down before walking off somewhere.
"Are you coming or not"Amaru's voice said he sounded aggitated and i frowned alittle.
"Stop being mean"Some girl yelled from outside the car.
She stepped out looking like a super model and i was really confused.
"Morgan meet Ajani and her boyfriend Dom this is Morgan"
"Um hi"I said awkwardly.
"Are you ready to go gyal im hungry and trying to get this over with"Dom said and Ajani side eyed him before grabbing his arm and they went to the car.
"What's going on"I asked
"That's my sister Ajani the one you thought i was lying about and her boyfriend it's a double date "He said with a shrugged and i took in his appearence.
Amaru was tall slender yet muscular he had black curly hair that he kept up with full lips with a pretty smile. He ad this little accent from his background that i liked alot. He wore his normal facial expression which made people think he was bored. He was wearing a red button down polo with some khaki joggers and some airforces. He looked very well put together.
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"you look nice"He said causing me to smile again. He grabbed my hand and opened the door for me and then went to the other side.
"Man Jani push your seat up"He whined
"Man shut up and ride should have drove yourself and stop being cheap"She said back scooting up.
I looked at Ajani she was lightskin and her and Amaru really favored except her hair was blonde. She had the same accent like him hers was a little stronger but not to strong.
We arrived at Eden's a restaurant i couldnt afford but hear good things about.
She handed her keys to Dom and he kissed her and rubbed her stomach before pulling her close and walking into the restaurant.
