You would think i would get over the fact that i own a cartel or that i have a 2 years old daughter for one of the people who use to be apart of it but i still havent.
"hello earth to Jani "Leeyah said as we sat in the visiting room at the federal prison my babydaddy Dom and his cousin and a close friend of mine Cole were at for drug possession.
He finally came sit down and Leeyah made busy at another table with my daughter while i fiddled with my fingers.
"I thought you were gonna send Rome with Aria" He said and i looked at him. He looked different he had longer hair that looked like he was still getting a shape up but not a good one and he had grown a beard. He was more muscular compared to him in highschool.
"I wanted to talk before" I said finding my words hard to say.
"I know you have a boyfriend Ajani if that's what your nervous about" He said oddly calm.
"You not mad" I asked him
"You've been single for a year but i do wanna talk to the man your bringing around my princess what does he do for a living" He asked
"He's a doctor Aria hasnt been around him because i wanted you to know and i didnt want her to get confused." I said and he nodded as he stroked his beard.
"I dont know why i thought you would hold it down for me" he said
"I do but im still just your friend and we're barely that when you went to jail we werent on the best standings and we barely talk you call and i give the phone to Aria"I said and he nodded
"I was trying to be a perfect family and you go around doing your own thing i wanted my daughter to grow up with both parents not both parents and a step parent i probably wont even get with anyone else because i dont want her to feel like the red headed step child"
"I heard you court date got moved up to next Wednesday"
"Your saying that like your gonna show up"He said
"Dom im always gonna be there for you no matter what i dont care if someone thinks im being extra your a part of Aria and she's a part of me. You will always be in my life and i should just let it happen i have forgiven you and Rome for anything that has ever happen i have to let it go. I cant be selfish when i have Aria to think of" I said and he nodded
"learn that in therapy" He asked and i frowned and nodded
"So is my princess here" He asked and i nodded.
"can i see her before the visit is over" I nodded and motioned for Shai to bring her over. Cole's visitation was on a different day for some strange reason but we had all banded together in this time and became bestfriends.
She handed aria to her papa and she was so happy
"papa papa papa"she said reaching and playing with his face.
"I missed you too princess" he said kissing her chubby cheeks.
he tickled her and played with her sometimes glancing at me. The prison guard yelled that visitation was ending and i let a tear fall seeing the hurt look in Dom's face that replaced his smile.
I stood up and reached for Aria.
"Papa" she said still reaching and he kissed her hand
"Papa loves you princess"he said. I gave him a hug
"Ill see you Wednesday"
"call me tonight" he said and i nodded and carried my daughter out as she cried wanted her papa.
