School went by pretty quick, I wasn't bothered by Chelsea which is a win! But I am now homeless. I need to find somewhere to stay but for now a motel will have to do.
I walk to the nearest motel and make my way to my room, it wasn't a five star motel but it was better than the side of the street. I was in the middle of unpacking when I hear a rustling sound outside, what the heck was that? Me being the curious thing i am went outside to have a look. "Whos there?!" I say, the rustling seemed to be coming from a bush, what the f*ck?, i start to walk over trying to get a look on what lies beneath the bush when a cat flies out and nearly claws me! " what the f*ck!" I said jumping, i roll my eyes and go back inside to carry on unpacking. I started wondering about the cat again.. why was it trying to claw at me? Cats usually love me! Well what i could remember told me they did. I thought they only react like that to dogs or something i dont know. All this thinking is hurting my brain so i go and hit the hay and let the darkness consume me.
*Flashback to 10 years ago*
" Mummy! Daddy! Skyler got a coin out of my ear! He's magic!!!" Young Scarlette squeals to her parents running into their arms, " wow! Did he? He must be a wizard then?" Scarlettes Dad said, " he is! I swear!" Young Scarlette squeals, " have you found out how i did it?" Skyler came and joined us, " no! You're a wizard Skyler!!! My brothers a wizard! Yaaaaay" Young Scarlette said hugging Her big brother Skyler, " I love you Skyler!" I love you too Scarlotte!", " hey kiddos it's way past your bedtime how about a story then sleep?" Their dad said giving them both a kiss on their forehead. "Yaaay!!! Story time!" They said running towards their bedroom. They hop in bed and wait for their parents to arrive...
"And they lived happily ever after" their mum said, " the end", "again! Again!", no kiddos its time for you to go to sleep! Good night my gorgeous babies" their mum said giving them both a big kiss and turning off the light and closing the door.
Young Scarlotte's p.o.v
"Aaaaasrrrgh" i hear my mummy shreak, it wakes me up from my slumber and i go to wake up my brother, "Skyler! Wake up i think somethings wrong with mummy!" I welp tears starting to roll down my face, my brother leaps out of bed grabbing my hand and leading us to see what the noise was. " You will never have it!" My mum growls at the man. We make our way down the hallway to see a strange man on top of mum. "What are you doing!" I scream at the man who was standing above my mum, he turns to face me and my brother with his black? Eyes? Why are they black? He comes toward us, " don't you touch my pups!" My mummy roared. Pups? Why did she call us pups? I was broken from my thought when mummy used her hand and in one swish moment the strange man went flying across the room, me and my brother were in some bubble. What was going on? The man picked up my mum and slammed her against the wall "noooo! Mummmy!!!" I scream, tears streaming down my face. The man stabbed my mummy and vanished. My mum fell to the floor struggling to breath, " mummy! No!" Me and my brother run towards her, " oh my pups, my poor little pups! Im sorry it came to this" my mum whined with tears strolling down her cheeks, " mummy everything is going to be okay" my brother Skyler said crying while applying pressure to her newly made wound on her stomach. her breath started slowing down no! " Scarlette" my mum whispered with little energy she had left, i came closer engolfing my little hand in hers, " you must pro-tect it, there will be people after you but you will be strong ok? You will soon find out who you are, who you are to be my little pup" my mummy said tears welling up again, she grabbed my hand and a tingling feeling sprung through her finger tips into mine, her eyes shun white and light came from her heart and went to mine and left a mark of what seemed like a glittery silver moon with stars surrounding it on my chest, a streak of blonde ran through my wavey light brown hair what is happening? " all will be clear my pups it all takes time, i love you both!" My mother said taking her last breath and her head fell into my hands. NOOOOO! This can't be happening " mummy?" Skyler said, "Mamas gone Skyler" i said tears cascading down my face.
Scarlette now p.o.v
"argghhhh" i wake up with my head throbbing, what the heck did i do last night? i groan and pull myself up from my sleepy state, it was still dark outside so i head to the small kitchen to fix myself some food. I open the fridge and grab a sandwich i bought on my way to the motel. I bite into the sandwich and head outside to get some fresh air. I feel like going for a run so that is what i will do. I'm in need of some sort of workout. I need to be strong, That way I will never get hurt again.
I head into the forest to clear my mind. I start to run, I could feel the pain kicking in on my futs and muscles, as they haven't had this much physical activity in years. I pick up the pace loving the feel of the wind through my hair. I love this feeling, it makes me feel like there isn't a problem in the world.
