Collin's POV
"What's the bad news" I said clenching my fists
"I'll give you the good news first. The good news is she can go home now, the bad news is she has lost some of her memory"
What. My heart dropped to my stomach and if it was even possible it probably shattered into a billion pieces.
"Don't worry" the doctor said as he put his hand on my shoulder "it's easy for her to get it back. She just needs time"
"Can I see her" I swallowed hard
"She's in room 225. Right across the hall"
I nodded and make my way to her room. I opened the door and saw her laying down.
"Holland?" I said getting closer to her.
She opened her eyes "yes?"
I sat down and faced her "do you know who I am?" I asked as I grabbed her hands
"No" she let go and started to look at me weird
"It's me Collin! You're best friend. Come on Holly you can't forget. Do you remember Kelsey? She's you're best friend too! Remember when you were 5 and I was 6, it was you're birthday and I smashed your head in the cake" I began to laugh "do you remember?"
"No, I'm sorry" those words shattered me.
Holland's POV
Why is this guy here? And who is he. He's here telling me things I have to memory of. I don't recall ever knowing someone named Collin or Kelsey.
Collin, Collin, Collin
*flash backs*
*outside my house*
"Stop running around Holly!" Collin said chasing me
"You're a loser" I said sticking me tongue out at him
"I'm going to tell my mom!" Collin said as he ran to his house
"No Collin I'm sorry!" I began to cry
Collin turned around and walked towards me "I'm kidding Holly, I would never say or do anything that would make you cry"
I dried my tears "really?"
"Yes"
"Pinky promise?" I held out my pinky
"Pinky promise" he held out his pinky.
*At a party*
"Holly I-"
"Yes?" I answered
"I'm in love with-"
"Rebecca? I know" I said smiling
"No Holly. I'm in love with you"
What
"Aren't you going to say something?"
*At a party*
"So you're in love with me huh?" I said getting up from bed and putting on my dress
"Always have been Holly" he replied with a wink "by the way, you look hot half naked" he said getting closer to me.
"Collin" I said giggling.
*end of flashbacks*
"Collin!" I got up and hugged him
"Holly!" He hugged me back "You remember" he pulled away and smiled
"Of course, how can I not remember some idiot that smashed my face in cake on my birthday, and made a promise to me that he would never say or do anything to hurt me" I said smiling
"How can you forget Holly" he cupped my face then kissed me.
"I love you Holly" he said as he kept kissing me
I pulled away
"What?" He looked sad
I smiled "I love you too" I pulled him close to me and kissed him.
I know its short but I wanted to make it that short so I can keep you guys wanting to read more ;)
