Changed this book name to Deceived.

Chapter begin

Ash's POV

I blinked in confusion. I was perplexed. She? Wants to be friends. With me? A sore loser who needs help to stop a punch?

"What...?" I croaked out.

"I want to be your friend silly!" She said, poking my nose causing me to heavily blush.
"So what do you say?"

I smiled and nodded my head in agreement.

A few moments later, the teacher, or who I assumed to be the teacher, came in.

"Morning class! Sorry I was late. Now, let the lesson begin!"

***

The bell rang hear and I could hear cheers coming from everywhere. I packed my things into my black bag and slung it across my shoulder. I waited for everyone to go out first before I walked out.

"Hey Ash! Want to come over to my place?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. (Imagine Serena's face when she asked Jimmy if he wanted to eat.)

Again, my cheeks turned red, this time a little darker. A girl wants me over at her house?! Not to mention she's the daughter of the principal!

"Is Grace going to be okay with it?" I asked.

"Don't be silly! She welcomes anyone over at any point of time!" She answered, flashing a cute grin at me.

"O-Okay then." I smiled at her and she jumped up in glee.

"Yay! This is going to be great! As long as Calem doesn't barge in..." She muttered the last part but I heard her.

"Calem?" I asked, hoping for an explanation.

"He's my boyfriend." She sighed and for some reason I felt my heart aching. "He never really cares for me. He just ditches me for some stupid reason." She clenched her fists in anger. "I hate that pathetic son of a b*tch so much."

"Why don't you just break up with him?"

"He'll beat me up." She sadly replied.

I saw a tear rolling down her cheeks and I regretted asking her that question. "Oh shit Serena! I didn't mean to make you cry."

"Nah. It's okay." She wiped the tears that were threatening to fall away and put on a determined face. "One day, I'll find a way to stand up to him!"

I smiled at her. That girl is always full of happiness. Even though I've only met her for a short time, it felt as if I had known her for so long.

"You're amazing Serena." I muttered, ensuring that Serena couldn't hear me.

"So, this is my home!"

My mouth dropped. That's not a house! That's a freaking mansion for goodness sake!

"Don't be shy! Get in!" Serena giggled as she pushed the door open and forced me in.

I fell face-first because of how strong she was. I let out a groan of pain and I lifted my head up to see how her house looked like and let's just say I fainted right there and then.

***

I opened my eyes and saw myself in a room filled with... dark colours? The room was black with some red paint sprayed on the walls making a shiver run down my spine. There were words like, 'Do or die' and 'One mistake and you're dead'.

"I see you're awake Ash!" I snapped my head towards the source of the sound. What I saw made me internally scream. There, stood Serena, a knife in her hand and she was advancing towards me slowly. Holy shiet! She's no girl, she's a mad woman! I backed away slowly from her making her raise her eyebrows in confusion.

"What are you doing?" She asked, slightly chuckling.

"Trying not to get myself killed." I yelled, pointing towards the knife with shaky hands.

Serena took one look at the knife she held in her hand and burst out laughing. Now it was my turn to raise my eyebrows.

"Why are you laughing?"

"You thought I was going to kill you? You must be an idiot to think so..." She sighed. "I assume you're hungry?"

I was about to protest when my stomach grumbled so loudly that I could hear echoes. I flushed in embarrassment as I rubbed the back of my head. Serena chuckled and she walked out of the room, shortly returning with a bowl of soup. I took a sip and I gasped.

"You like it?"

"Like it?! Oh hell no!" I saw her expression dropped a little and smiled. "I love it."

I saw her cheeks turning a light shade of red which made my cheeks turn a darker shade of red than hers. Serema smiled at me.

"Call me if you need anything..." She muttered, leaving the room and closing the door.

It was at this moment that I knew, I was beginning to have feelings for the girl. With that thought on my mind, I fell asleep, dreaming of the girl.

Serena's POV

After closing the door, I headed down to my basement but one particular boy was on my mind the whole time. Yep, you guessed it. It was Ash, the boy I had fallen for.

The dark basement didn't scare me at all since I've been many times. But this time, it was a pitch black so I grabbed a stick from the ground, took out my lighter and lighted it up. And no, I do not smoke.

I walked down the narrow pathway until I saw a black wooden door at the end of the pathway. I rested my hand on the doorknob, made myself look good and entered the place.

"Grace, Giovanni, what do you need this time?"

This chapter was slightly shorter but hey. It's still an update.

Plot twist there. >:)
