Chapter 5

Daniel's POV

I stare up at the ceiling. I can't believe I slept. Especially because my unrequited love is getting married and my 17 year old brother is lying on top of me.

I gasp for air and try to push the lump of lard off of me. He groans and snuggles into my side. "LEON GET YOUR FAT ASS OFF OF ME!" I squeal and use all my might to try and push him off the bed. I fail miserably.

I sigh and play with his long ginger hair, wondering if he'll get it cut. It was already shoulder length.

His green eyes flicker open and look at me, "'Morning beautiful" he greeted me, "'Morning Sleeping Beast" I retorted. He snickered and pecked my cheek, "STOP THE INCEST!" I say and punch him down onto the ground.

He groaned and got up slowly. I realised he was still wearing his jacket from going out yesterday. I groan as I slowly remember what happened yesterday.

Don't cry Dan, Don't cry. You're strong. Don't cry over this stupid thing I thought as I brought my hands to my face.

Tears started welling up in my eyes and I started to sob. I felt Leon's arms cradle me and pull me into his chest. I sobbed silently into Leon's chest.

He rocked me and the whole room stayed silent. He didn't say a word. Nor did I. He just sat there, rocking me, and I just sat there,crying in his arms.

After a while, I stopped crying and looked up at Leon, "Can we get strawberry ice cream?" I asked him hoarsely. He smiled and kissed my forehead, "We'll go in a minute. First though, you need to prep yo weave and fix this" he gestured to my face. I giggled and stood up. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and brushed my hair.

I came back out feeling refreshed. Leon was standing there, ready to go. "I have to get dressed" I giggled as he tripped and fell face first on to the ground. He groaned, "Who left their stupid phone charger there?!" I giggled again, "You" He glared at me and groaned.

I got dressed in my grey totoro sweater, black skinny jeans, plaid converse and black beanie. I yawn and fix my blonde fringe, "You ready Lee?" I ask and knock on the bathroom door. "Yeah" he called out, washing his hands and flushing the toilet.

He came out in his red t-shirt, blue jeans, green hoodie, red body warmer,luminous green converse and green beanie.He smirked,"Like what you see?", I rolled my eyes.

"Why so much green? Are you a leprechaun or something?" I ask and put my hand on my hip. He put one hand on his hip and snapped his fingers, "You just jelly you don't got style like me. Especially when your weave be looking like that", "Mhmmm" I retort and snap my fingers back at him. He held his pose and I burst out laughing.
