chapter 7

We walk into the lunch room, Alexis, Juliet and I, and go line up to get our food. When we have our food, we look around looking for Calum and Ash. I found them sitting in out usual table.

"Hey." I say as I sit across from Ashton and Cal. Juliet sits beside Calum and Alexis sorta just stands there. "Sit down." I say patting the spot to my right. She sits down but looks extremely uncomfortable.

"Where are you originally from Alex?" Calum asks her.

"Oh, uh from Canada." she says looking down.

"Oh cool!" He says back to her.

"You know I have family up there!" Juliet says, drinking her Pepsi

"Yeah we dont care." I say to her.

"Bitchy much?" Michael says sitting beside me on my left.

I glare at him, "Can you like fuck off?"

"No." He smiles, grabbing one of my fries from my plate.

"Ugh." i groan turning towards Alexis, "What are you doing after school?"

"Oh-"

"You're still coming with me. Don't make any other plans." Michael snaps interrupting her.

"Excuse you but I can ask her a goddamn question if I want to, thank you very much." I snap. He's taking aback a little I think. How is he still not used to me snapping at him?

"Sassy." is all he says.

"Ugh." I roll my eyes. "As I was saying, what are you doing after school?" I ask Alex again.

She hesitates at first, "Uh, nothing." She says shyly. I think.

"You can come hang with me? If you want?" Juliet says to her, Calum's arm around her shoulders. He looks at her confused.

"But," he says.

"Sorry babe, but I don't think I'll be able to make it." she smiles. He laughs.

"I don't want to make you change your plans for me you know..." Alex trails looking at her lap.

"No no. I don't mind, and I'm sure Cal doesn't mind, and Sky's to busy running off with her boyfriend here, so I'll be the nice one." she smiles. I snort.

"You? The nice one?" I laugh.

"Shut the hell up Skylar, I'm not the one who beats up kids cause 'they're in my way'." Juliet says.

"It was one time!"

"Sure."

"It was!" wait. "Well, I mean..."

"See? it wasn't only one time." she points out. I shrug.

"And he's not my boyfriend." I add.

"Really?" she's ask sarcastically.

"I'll hit you."

"And I'll hit you back."

"Whatever."

I feel a vibration in my pocket and realize it's my phone. I pull it out and see that it was a text from Andy.

'Come to my car. I need to talk to you.'

'ok be there in like 5' I reply.

"Uh, I have to go see Andy. I'll be back right away." I tell whoever is sitting at the table.

"On your way back get me another Pepsi." Juliet tells me.

"Get it yourself."

"No."
