❝ — not as simple,❞

jimin sighs, patting jia's back, as she sobs profusely into her own arms, lying face down on the table. taehyung frowns, the both of them were both sad for jia.

"hey, come on now. dont jump to conclusions just yet!" taehyung sighs, smiling at her, trying to lighten up the mood.

"has youngmin said anything yet?" jimin asks, jia shook her head, sniffling. "but he has been calling me ever since," she softly says, rising up, using the tissue to wipe away her tears.

"his friends are texting me one by one, asking me to come back," jia sighs, taking out her phone from her pocket, going through tons of notifications from donghyun and youngmin.

new text message from youngmin 💖
jia please let me explain

"maybe youngmin's right," jia softly whispers. the both of them raised their eyebrows.

"caring for things brings a lot of trouble," she says. jimin sighs, comforting her, telling her it's okay.

"no, i mean. i dont mind him seeing another girl, just — why couldnt he tell me beforehand? he had to make me wait for three hours?! then raised his voice at me when i said that she's just 'some girl'" jia frustratedly whines, putting her head down on the table again

"i hate fighting with youngmin," jia groans, banging her head onto the table again and again. "i told you, people fight when they're in love," jimin sighs.

taehyung out of the blue says, "well people fight when they're out of love too," which made jia raise her head, turning over to taehyung. "what do you mean 'out of love'?"

he shrugs, "just dont jump to conclusions, jia," taehyung pats jia's hand. she groans out of frustrated again. why did love suddenly become a messy thing? it used to be her favourite thing to be in when she was in high school.

as if on cue, someone runs into the cafe, the bell on the door could be heard. "jia!" the voice called jia's name. it was youngmin, jia could recognize it within seconds.

jimin gets up from his seat, "you're okay with it, right?" jia shrugs, she doesnt know whether she's ready to face him or not.

jimin and taehyung both sat in another table, talking between themselves. jia puts her head down on the table, her hoodie covering her head, she can hear the sigh of her boyfriend.

"are you okay?" youngmin softly asks. jia raises her head, sarcastically smiling at youngmin. "yes im okay, because after having my own boyfriend stand me up and then seeing him in the room alone with a girl, of course i'll be okay!"

youngmin sighs again. "that girl is the one i talked about to you a few days ago," he starts off explaining. jia listened.

"she moved to ilsan for awhile, remember? and she told me that she came back to seoul, i was excited! so i immediately met her," youngmin continues.

jia rolls her eyes, "and then you forget all about your girlfriend?" she effortlessly laughs, looking away.

"i've asked you once, and i'll ask you again— how special is she to you?" jia asks, finally looking into the eyes of her boyfriend.

youngmin stutters, "how special is she to you that you forgot your date with your girlfriend and even had to raise your damn voice at her when she called your friend just 'some girl'?" jia sternly voices out.

"jia im so sorry, i just— i got too excited that i forgot," youngmin begs for jia's forgiveness.

"like i said, come talk to me once you've sorted your thoughts out," jia walks off, out of the cafe, leaving youngmin behind.
