Rose's P.O.V.
I texted Sierra impatiently. Spring break had just begun and I didn't want to waste a minute of it. We were kick starting our vacation by going for a bike ride. We live in Rosemont, CA, a small town in the Sacramento Valley. Rosemont was the typical Americano city. A small, sleepy town where you just felt like you knew everyone.
Fifteen minutes later Sierra and I were enjoying the sunshine on our cruiser bikes - mine pink and hers blue. I was humming "What Makes You Beautiful," my favorite song.
"I can't belive it's spring break and I'm working out!" complained Sierra.
"I would hardly call this working out fatso," I teased. Sierra was drop dead gorgeous. She had the perfect body, gorgeous turquoise eyes, and medium length blonde hair. I wasn't nearly as pretty, but I wasnt ugly either. I had thick, brown hair that went down just above my waist when it was straightened and hazel eyes. I was happy with my body; I played soccer competitively and that definitely kept me in shape.
"Can we please just go shopping Rose?" she whined, making a puppy dog face.
I rolled my eyes. "Aww c'mon. Let's just go around the trail once and then we can shop all you want. Besides, there's some cute guys up ahead and they're also on bikes. Actually, from behind, they kind of look like One Direction."
"Seriously Rose?! You're obsessed!" Sierra, unlike me, wasn't that into One Direction.
"No, seriously though..." I trailed off. They looked exactly like them; if only I could get a clear view of their faces...
Sierra rolled her eyes. "I'm not gonna stalk them because you think they look like One Direction. That's insanity. A world famous band in Rosemont. Yeah," she snorted.
"I know how I'm going to figure if it really is them!" I exclaimed, smiling widely.
"Dear God help us," Sierra muttered.
