It's just one big epilogue; enjoy!
IN ROSE'S POV
*Four Years Later*
I sat alone in a Starbucks in New York, people watching. Making up their life stories. I glanced at my phone. 10:20 am. Ugh, why did I come so damn early? I downed the last of my coffee, and checked my emails for the umpteenth time. A bell announced the opening of the door. I didn't bother looking up; I'd gotten my hopes up enough only to have them crushed too many times this morning. Next thing I knew, I was in the middle of a giant group hug that consisted of my seven closest friends.
"Rose! We've missed you so much!" Louis exclaimed first, resulting in a chorus of agreement. The seven of them had already been together for a couple days... my graduation happening after theirs. The past four years had been extemely hectic. I'd gotten a nursing degree, trying to fit in visits with Liam and my brother as much as possible. And yes, Liam and I had managed to stick together, through thick and thin. The boys' band was still going strong; their music maturing with the boys. It was unheard of, what the boys had done. No one ever expected them to have lasted this long. Niall was still single, but had dated here and there. Harry, on the other hand, was dating a girl named Lucy, who was back in the UK. Sierra finished college, majoring in English, and was starting up teaching elementary the coming fall. She was also engaged to a sweet guy she'd met in college. Haley skipped the whole college thing and was modeling all around the world. Zayn had proposed to her 6 months ago, which I'd heard all about over the phone, and their wedding was scheduled for next summer.
"I've missed you guys too!" I replied, then hugged each one of them. By this point, we had quite a few people staring at us, not to mention the paparazzi surrounding the coffee shop. We weren't exactly the most unnoticeable people.
We all sat down at a table and started catching up. Which was mainly just Liam and I in our own little world as everyone else talked.
"Uh, Rose?" Liam asked, gesturing to the rest of the group, who were all staring at me. I blushed, unaware they'd been trying to get my attention.
"Yeah?" I asked, trying to cover my crimson cheeks with my hair.
"What's next for you? Where are you going to live, work, etc.?" Zayn asked.
"Ummm... I'll get back to you on that?" I answered. I honestly had no clue what was happening with my life. I loved San Diego, where I'd gone to college, but what I wanted most was to be with Liam. We hadn't even discussed living arrangements, or what our future held. And as I thought about it, I began to get more and more distressed, to the point I couldn't even focus anymore.
"Rose. ROSE!" Harry yelled, waving his hand in front of my face.
"Sorry," I muttered. "Liam, can we please talk?" I saw everyone exchange worried looks. God, did they think I was blind? It was definitely not helping the situation.
"Yeah sure," Liam said cautiously, walking outside.
"Not here. There's paps everywhere," I said, grabbing Liam's hand and dragging him down countless alleys in hopes of ditching the paps. Finally we were alone.
"What are we doing?" I asked, my eyes pricking with tears. I tried to swallow the lump in my throat.
"Whaddya mean?" he replied, concerning filling his eyes.
"I mean, what are we doing after this meet up? I love you, I want to be with you, but we have nothing figured out!" I say, almost hysteric.
"Love, first of all you need to calm down. It'll be alright, no matter what. Okay?" Liam says in a soothing voice, looking me in the eye. I take a couple of deep breathes. I nod to signify that I'm okay now.
