Memories;

"Convince them!" He said. "I already tried. They won't agree!" I told him. He sighed and rubbed his temple. "I wish people were more accepting," I caress his both of his cheeks. "Yeah, me too," he sandwiched my hands between his and plant a kiss on my forehead.

-

"Mom, just listen-"

"No means no! You can't go out with an adult nor a man!" Mom yelled.

"We talked about this before. You're going to ruin our image!" She continued.

My face feels hot. "Our image?! What's wrong about liking men? It's just the same difference as liking women!"

"I love him and he loves me, that's the only thing that matters!"

"You're still too young! He's manipulating you. Do you actually think a guy in that age wants to date a kid like you?"

"Mom, he's not like that!"

We argued and argued and then- SLAP

I held my cheek where she slapped. I stared at her as my tears of anger streamed down. I exited the house and slammed the door.

I fish my phone from my pocket and called Tom. "Hello?" His voice sounds as sweet as honey to me. It soothes me. "Let me guess," he said before I manage to say something. "You guys fought again?" He asked, concerned. "Yeah," I quietly replied. "I'll be there in 5. Wait for me outside." He commanded and hanged the phone.
