Memories;

I sadly walk towards the bench.

He was there. I smile, he smiles back. I know he is worried and just acting strong for our sake.

I sat on the bench beside him, huffing a sigh, making white vapour float on the cold air.

"They don't want us together," I broke the news to him, trying hard not to cry. I cupped my warm cheeks with my numb hands.

He reached out and petted my back. "It's okay," he said, disappointed. "It's not okay!" I lashed out and slapped his hand from my back.

He was surprised. My eyes widen and starts to stream out hot tears, wetting my cheeks.

"How about we run away together? Start a new life in a new city? Just like we planned?" He suggested, holding both of my hands in his. "We can get marry and have as many as pets you want!" He continued eagerly.

I nodded and hugged him. He returns my embrace. It was so warm. I wish this moment never end.

I love him. And he loves me. That's the only thing that mattered.
